Hotel Carmen — Hotel in Marsella

Excellent experience! The hotel is beautiful, it feels very authentically Colombian and it's very clean and comfortable. The owners are super friendly and helpful, it's obvious they love working in tourism and want you to enjoy your time in the pueblo. They gave me lots of great recommendations and I actually extended my stay another night. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean with hot water in the shower. The hotel is a half block from the central plaza where you can find restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops and ice cream shops. It's also only a couple blocks from the botanical garden which is a must if you visit. Highly recommend...

Pride is obvious in the meticulous way this colonial hotel is kept. Everything is sparkling clean and well maintained. One of the most well-kept places we have had the privelage of staying in. The bed is very comfortable, the room spacious and it fit right into our traveling budget. Location is another bonus as it just steps away from Plaza Principal and the busier street where a variety of stores offer pretty much everything...

Estuvimos tres personas allí. Desde el comienzo el propietario, señor Víctor estuvo super atento a ayudarnos y acoger nuestras necesidades. ||||Tuvimos un cuarto en el segundo piso bastante grande, realmente muy cómodo y bonito.Las camas, perfectas.|| ||El hotel es impecable y bonito. Queda ubicado a media cuadra de la plaza central de Marsella y la vista es linda. Además, desde allí llegamos rápido caminando a todos los sitios que deben verse: La bella Casa de la Cultura, el cementerio cuyo estilo es impresionante, el lindo jardín botánico y simplemente, las calles de Marsella. Creo que en nuestro caso, no podríamos haber hecho una mejor elección ya que solo teníamos dos días. ||||Lo único que puede ser difícil es algo que no es propio del hotel sino de la vida actual en muchos lugares de Colombia. Hay motos que pasan de seguido en la vía generando un poco de ruido pero no dura hasta muy tarde. Si alguien tiene problemas de sueño, le sugeriría pedirle a don Víctor que le asigne una habitación que no dé a la calle. ||||Finalmente, tiene las adecuaciones para personas con discapacidades....
