Rancho La Soledad — Hotel in Montenegro

The view is very beautiful. You can see the mountains, even the snowy peaks of the three Nevados when it's not foggy. The atmosphere is pretty relaxing, there's no loud music, people shouting or heavy traffic around it. The house is surrounded by trees, flowers and bushes, which make it a memorable place. Nevertheless, the house itself (we stayed at the one named Alejandría) needs an urgent refurbishment. The kitchen and all 5 bathrooms were constructed at least 25 years ago, and since then they haven't been thoroughly cleaned nor refurbished. It's very hard to cook and prepare food in the kitchen due to it's state and lack of maintenance. It's admirable what the cleaning and cooking staff undertook for us! In addition to the poor state of things, the house has a hot tub that doesn't work well. Out of 6 days, it only worked 2. It would be nice if the owners would invest in refurbishments in order to offer a much better and suitable stay, taking into consideration the price of the accomodation. The only thing we really didn't like was the lack of ecological awareness. Every 2 days the bed sheets and towels were changed and washed. We need to save water on the earth and stop contaminating it...

The finca is a very nice place to stay while taking a vacation. The service the the finca was exquisite and professional, and to some extent made you feel special. There was a lot of rooms and places to sleep in the finca I stayed at. There is a lot to explore in the finca and a lot to look forward to, 10/10 would recommend

Finca ALEJANDRIA. Allí ofrecen unas fincas como Heliconias y Prado y se ven muy bnas. Nosotros estuvimos en Alejandria. Fué muy desafortunada la estadia: agua caliente solo el primer día de 6 noches que estuvimos. La empleada Gabriela decía no saber hacer buñuelos, chocolate, sancocho, frijoles era negada para todo. Un problema el servicio de jacuzzi. Tuvimos un sanitario malo y que inundaba la habitación todo el tiempo, nunca lo arreglaron a pesar de las solicitudes. La iluminación era deficiente y sólo funcionaba en algunos sectores de la finca. El interior de la casa mal presentado, falto de pintura y muchas humedades. Nos sentimos muy inconformes y asaltados en nuestra buena fe de consumidores y turistas. No cubrió nuestras expectativas. No recomendable bajo ningún aspecto. Posiblemente cuando nueva tuvo bn servicio y fue bna, ahora no. Las fotos que presenta son viejas, no son recientes. Como dice el dicho, "las fotos salen...
