I spent 2 nights here on a recent long weekend. What attracted me were the photos on the booking website, which showed clean, attractive, modern looking suites. I'm glad to say that, in looks, the hotel lived up to it. I also found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. When I asked to be moved to a quieter room, the owner himself came and talked to me, and his staff showed me to a bigger room that happened to be in a quieter corner- no extra charge.||||My very big bone of contention was the noise of the surrounding bars and businesses. The hotel is within sight of the beach- usually a good thing, but not in this case. The beach is lined with bars, all playing music with very large speakers. The music plays sometime into the wee hours of the morning, and starts back up again by 9 AM. At night I could hear a couple of competing soundtracks as they amped the music up even more. ||||It was a huge shame because the hotel and staff are lovely. As long as loud music doesn't bother you, this is a great place to stay. However, if you want a quiet retreat from which to relax and enjoy the beach, this is not the...
Read moreThis hotel is located 1 block away from the beach. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. The check in process was quick and easy. We arrived in our own car from Medellin Colombia. ||This was a last minute trip which turned into an amazing experience. So much so we are looking to move to this beautiful city. ||My review will only be about the hotel. It's clean, remodeled and is located between the beach and the main park of Necocli. ||The hotel offers breakfast and sells lunch and dinner. The meals were amazing and affordable. On average the plates are 8.000 Colombian pesos. That is hard to beat when the meal includes a fish soup, rice, choice of meat and a drink. That is amazing. ||We love the room. The rooms are air conditioned and include a ceiling fan. Our room also included a balcony. We love this place and I think you will as well. ||For more information on this Medellin beach town you can check out my free online guide arsimon.com under categories exotic...
Read moreI spent four nights in this hotel, a short holiday. The hotel is not very new but in perfect conditions, has a restaurant and a swimming pool on the other side of the street (it is a street without any car trafic). The girls of the reception (Dyana and Katerine) were very friendly and helpful whenever I needed help or suggestions. The room had fan and air conditioned, which I did not used because the rooms were freshed by the sea breeze; it was clean and it had a very small balcony. There were not storage space or shelves in the bathroom and no closet in the room, only three open shelves and a night table. There was a double bed and a big sofa that I used as storage space for putting the suitecase and the clothes. The hotel has a common terrace with an amaca, in the shadow of a big palm tree. I spent hours in this amaca! The beach is in front of the hotel (25-30 meters) and the main plaza is just on the back side. Restaurants and banks are all in the...
