I spent one night at this hotel at the beginning of June. The situation is good - it's right on the beach. But it is noisy, incredibly noisy - the plumbing/pipework from the room above goes through the room below. This means that every time someone has a shower, uses a tap or flushes the toilet, it sounds like a small waterfall. I was woken up several times during the night by the people upstairs flushing the loo. ||The room was nicely renovated and decorated, but the terrace hadn't been touched.||The breakfast was abysmal - no choice - rock hard bread and cheap jam. Breakfast was on the terrace which would have been nice except they were cleaning the terrace canopy roof with a pressure hose - again very noisy and splashing water everywhere.||It also seemed to be the breakfast venue of choice for local workers with their ham sandwiches and beer. It felt like sitting in the local cafe - not a hotel which cost €80 a night - you can stay in a good 4 star hotel for this price. ||They also advertise a swimming pool - it's more like a big bath - and it's right next to the cafe terrace.||This is definitely a rip off. The staff didn't really care. Wouldn't...
Read moreStayed 2 nights on tour of Europe needed a place to chill without any travel for a break. Location was perfect my own private sun terrace overlooking a quiet beach. In house catering very good, staff helpful. A splattering of Spanish language makes it easier as the area seems to cater for the Spanish ie resteraunt menus etc.nice walk to town via the beach or coast road, everything was there. Location good for visiting Vallencia for day trip if needed, or just chill on the beach. No parking for cars outside, however did allow my motorbike outside the reception( bonus). Visited in May 2014 before the public hols in UK so don't know if that would make a difference to the beach population, town seemed to be just waking up for the...
Read moreWe loved the location which is right on a lovely picture perfect beach front. Rooms were modern and very clean. Fridges and a safe provided. huge wardrobes and bench space. Quite a big balcony for gazing out at the killer view whilst sipping a drink and eating olives and bread from the shops in town. The staff were very obliging and went out of their way to help whilst not being in your face. The restaurant had delicious food- paella only at mid day- and was very well utilized by locals and tourists. A 20 minute walk into Cullera proper, though leaving the beach here is tough. Beach loungers and umbrellas for £4 each all day. Quiet - except when restaurant is rocking- and a brilliant place to recharge...
