Hotel Campestre Nala Colombia — Hotel in Palmira

I had written this review a few months ago but for some reason TripAdvisor never posted it. I’m reposting it again. ||||DO NOT STAY HERE – THEFT IGNORED EVEN WITH PROOF||||I had a terrible experience at Hotel Campestre Nala and want to warn others—your belongings are NOT safe here, and management does not care.||||During my stay, cash (dollars and Colombian Pesos) was stolen from the safe in my room. When I reported it, the front desk staff actually reviewed the CCTV footage and confirmed that a housekeeping employee entered my room when they were not supposed to. This was clear, undeniable proof that something suspicious happened.||||Despite this, the so called hotel manager, “Doña” Adriana refused to take action. She brushed off my concerns, did not investigate properly, and made no effort to hold the employee accountable or assist me in any way. Her complete disregard for guest security is appalling.||||A hotel should be a place where guests feel safe, but here, even with video evidence, she did NOTHING. If you value your belongings and expect even the slightest professionalism, do yourself a favor and stay far away...

As many as 20 or so of us who were guests for a wedding nearby stayed here at the suggestion of the bride whose family lives locally. A great gated safe property with awesome proximity to the wedding venue. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning and seeing the security dog roam the property. The drinks and meals offered at the on-site restaurant accommodated vegetarian and vegan preferences. The amenities were simple but did include a beautiful pool. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Getting the correct rooms twins, doubles and kings was challenging at first but...

I stood in this hotel for 7 days, it was terrible. First, we weren’t able to get WiFi in the rooms, we would have to go out to get WiFi and the mosquitos would bites us. Second, bathroom experience was terrible, nothing to divided the shower so water would come out and do a mess. The hotel pool only measures 3 ft all around so it is not functional. And they don’t give you towers to go out like others hotel. So when we went to water parks we had to buy our own towels. Management is terrible, however the people working are good people.
