Monteza Glamping — Hotel in Piedecuesta

We stayed for one night but we were able to pack a lot in. We started our evening with a shower in the outdoor shower overlooking the Chicamocha canyon, amazing! Then we had staff light a fire for us while we sipped wine, next we had a lovely dinner (the burger was excellent) cooked for us by the staff on our bbq (extra cost but worth it). We ended the night in the hot tub drinking wine and listening to music. The next morning we had breakfast and relaxed on the property using the hammock, the swing, and the hot tub/plunge pool. We took amazing photos and hung out with one of the staff member's dog, Apollo. We are English speakers so check-in took a bit longer using Google translate but we managed fine. The next day, the staff on duty could also speak English so that was nice. The staff leave you alone to enjoy the property but are close by and available if you need them. The drive to the property was amazing, filled with twists and turns and spectacular views of the Chicamocha canyon. If you are renting a car (get an automatic otherwise you'll be shifting constantly) in Bucaramanga, I recommend you drive to Barichara, stay there for a few nights and then stay at Monteza on the way back to...

Traveled to Monteza glamping from the uk last year , the location is stunning, the service was fantastic, but what let it down for me was the glamping pod we were in was the premium, it had quite a lot of repairs rips etc plastic looked quite dirty, the decking was rotten in small places so you had to tread quite carefully, the girlfriend she had a fantastic time these repairs may have been done as Iv posted this about a year after I went , but is worth an ask to see...

Teníamos altas expectativas del lugar y de nuestra estadía. Salimos muy inconformes pues pagamos la mejor habitación que cuenta con un jacuzzi interior “master suite moon” pero el jacuzzi nunca funciono y cuando llamamos para que lo arreglaran estuvieron 2 horas hasta altas horas de la noche sin arreglarlo, nos tocó quedarnos sentados haciendo nada esperando que lo arreglaran porque ya estaba haciendo mucho frío en la noche y ese era nuestro plan. Nos tocó decirles que se retirarán pues ya teníamos sueño y dijeron que al otro día venían a arreglarlo. Nunca lo arreglaron ni nos volvieron a decir que iban a volver a arreglaron, nosotros consideramos que como clientes no debemos estarle rogando para que nos den un servicio que ya habíamos pagado. Lo peor de todo es que cuando les dijimos que iban a hacer, solo nos dijeron que lo único que nos podían dar era una disculpa. No nos querían dar nada a cambio y nos tocó exigirles que al menos nos obsequiaron 15 mil pesos de la fogata + masmelos. En cuanto a la limpieza, encontramos pelos y mugre negro en la cama como si no se hubiera realizado correctamente la limpieza. El mobiliario estaba desgastado y el ruido del aire en la noche fue súper incomodo. En cuanto al agua del jacuzzi, estaba estancada, no estaba limpio el jacuzzi para llenarlo uno mismo como en otros Glamping a los que hemos visitado.
