After check-in at 5 pm went to the room to find (1) no electrical plugs near the head of the bed, (2) only one towel for two people, and (3) no water in the toilet, sink or shower.|We informed the front desk and. The answer was “nothing that we can do. There has been a rain storm and the water reservoir is empty” Went we asked for a bottle of drinking water they gave us one and stated “we have to bill the water to our room”. We were told that the issue would be resolved by 10:00 pm. At 7:30 am no water to flush the toilet, wash hands, take shower or drink.|We found out that the hotels in the area all had running water.|At checkout we asked for some consideration of the cost of the room. Had no authority to offer. Call the GM or Owner we suggested. The reply was no discount. I work with coffee and I often travel for this reason.||I got a single room.||The room was nothing special. ||Very essantial if you think that this is one of the most expensive hotels in Pitalito.||Staff is friendly.||Get a room without the view. Those with the view look on the street, but during the early morning are preatty loud due to the vehicles in the street. A colleague of mine got a room with the view and couldn't very sleep at night.||The food is ok. Lot of meat. If you a vegetarian is better to have breakfast outside, even thought Colombians eat tons of meat||||I gave them two because it took them three days to give me the key of my room. Read moreClean, friendly. Good food, a little expensive, and quite possibly the best shower in Colombia. Wash and exfoliate at the same time. Perhaps the understated bathroom decor is such to not detract from the intensity of the shower. If there is currently a water shortage in southern Huila, we apologise. It was not easy finishing that shower. It was only a cancelled flight that meant we got the opportunity to experience this life-changing water event, but my are we pleased it was cancelled.
