The good is the pool and the landscaping around the pool and within the hotel’s courtyards. Decent and clean beds and pillows, reasonable prices as we had a three bed room and paid 190,000 pesos with breakfast included. Good air conditioning in the room. ||The bad is, we’ll just where to start would take too much time and writing so I will highlight the shortcomings: cold shower with the shower heads removed, the shower drains through a pipe that empties onto the bathroom floor a floods the now very slippery floor, the WiFi is decent in the room but your given a one connection allotment for each registered guest, rooms have mold and old plaster repair spots throughout the guest room, worn and dated curtain blinds that don’t close, etc., etc....||I clearly sense that Colombian families with kids would love the pool area as it has water slides and a play area but if you need a hotel room and you happen to be passing by, well just don’t have any expectations and it will suffice for a night.||Must warn you that the hotel looks like a complete dive hotel from the street but it does in fact get much better once your inside the rooms themselves.||I could not necessarily recommend but I also could not dismiss this hotel should you need a decent...

It doubles as the bus station, so buses drop you at the door, and equally, you can saunter out of your room and straight on to the bus.||2. It has an attached restaurant and shop.||3. It has it's own website with tariffs set out and the possibility of booking.||4. But it's big, so you would probably never need to book, especially during the week.||5. It looks nothing from the road, but it has a lush back yard with an enormous swimming pool.||6. There is a range of rooms, so you can go bargain basement, or pay for air-con and one of the nicer rooms out the back and thus be more comfortable. ||I got the cheapest room with fan only and paid for my decision with a lot of television and conversation noise from surrounding Colombians in their rooms, however as a place to crash overnight it was absolutely adequate.||One tip: Insect repellent is a necessity - Doradal is low lying between two mountain ranges, extremely wet, hot and steamy and teeming...
Read moreStayed here one night, got a single bed with fan only. The WiFi didn't work in my room had to go to the lobby. What you pay for is the large pool. My TV is an old tube stylse and the images were scrambled, but if like me you don't watch much TV wasn't a big deal. The shower has cold water but it so hot here it feels great. Overall its a good place compared to other spots in this small town. You pay more for the pool and bar area that are nice. Also you are close to restaurants and small stores for water...
