Nice views but not worth the price (tour + rooms).
We found the finca by recommendation. It does not have a website. We dealt with the owner directly through WhatsApp. We were quoted $260,000 (130000 per person) for the stay after asking about rooms + tours.
During our stay, the owner asked if we wanted the tour in English or Spanish. Given that my partner spoke Spanish we could have done either but opted for English. The owner did not indicate that there would be an additional charge for English when he offered the tour.
After our stay, the owner noted that the tour was an additional 90,000 per person and had not been included on the original quote - using the WhatsApp business catalog (buried three clicks down the WhatsApp settings) as justification. We went over the WhatsApp conversation with the owner where he agreed that he had not communicated the prices correctly or effectively.
Instead of trying to correct the situation, the owner took an "that is the price" type mentally. We discussed the additional gap in communication regarding the tour in English noting that had we known, we would have opted for the Spanish tour with my partner translating. The owner noted that he still would have charged the tour at the "English" price regardless, as the translating adds additional time.
The finca is located really far away from any town, which makes getting any food outside of the provided breakfast - difficult.
The owner as an individual is a nice person and we had good conversations with him.
While the finca is beautiful, the location and lack of understanding by the owner around the miscommunication in pricing that he quoted us (effectively the wrong price) made this overall not worth the price for the effort and experience we received.
We would recommend looking for other fincas to do your...

The setting is heavenly and I had the most breathtaking views over banana and coffee fields from my room. Seeing the sun rise over that landscape was really special.||||My room was perfect, spotlessly clean and had thoughtful little details like cosy blankets and lovely toiletries. And the bed was super comfy! ||||Juan and the team there took great care of me. We did trips around Quindío, visiting el Valle De Cocora, Salento, Filandia and Piajo, all of which were fantastic and tailored to what I was interested in seeing. It was great to talk with Juan about the area; I learned a lot and got a real sense of his passion for Quindío. ||||I know it sounds like I'm exaggerating, but everything about my brief stay at Finca Tulipanes really was perfect. My only regret is that I didn't spend longer there! ||||Do not miss out on this...
