Finca Hotel El Rosario — Hotel in Quindío

We stayed in the finca for 3 days at the end of October.||||Fernando was extremely kind and help us with everything. He picked us up from the town, which is only a 10 min drive to the place.||||The place is very beautiful and tranquil. If you want to have dinner there, just let them know in advance, we didn’t do it, but he kindly enough drove to town and got us some chicken and beer!||||Consuelo and Fernando’s wife were also very kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome. They received us every morning with a nice ‘tinto’, and breakfast was always good – they even made ‘calentado’ for us!||||Overall a great option to stay, we will certainly stay there again if we go back to the coffee region. A last minute decision to take in the Festivale del Luces, and we found ourselves at this delightful Finca. From the moment we arrived we were treated with huge smiles, conversations and a walk around the grounds to enjoy the beautiful setting. Our room was roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was traditional Colombia with good coffee. There was no wifi, but a minor inconvenience when everything else seems perfect. Our host and hostess will forever remain in our fond memories of our travels...

Es un lugar hermoso, lleno de una vegetación y fauna bellisima, encuentras ardillas, barranqueros, colibríes, mariposas, es un espectaculo respirar aire puro. Cuenta con piscina para niños y adultos, profundidad mácima 1.60 y tiene resbalador, bien limpia y grande, sillas asoleadoras con toallas disponibles. Las habitaciones son grandes, con closet y la mia tenía una puerta hacia uno de los jardines. Tiene una kiosko de juegos con ping pong, futbolito, sapo y juegos de mesa, tambien hay canchita de volleybol, puedes caminar por los alrededores y la estadia se te hace muy grata. El señor Fernando, quien te recibe, muy amable, el desayuno muy pero muy rico, fruta, café, chocolate, arepa, pan y huevos al gusto. Si deseas almorzar o cenar debes encargarlo. RECOMENDACION: LLEVEN LO QUE QUIERAN COMER COMO SNACKS, AGUA, BEBIDAS porque allá...
