Finca San Miguel Filandia — Hotel in Quindío

I stayed in Finca San Miguel in late February 2024 and strongly recommend it. The whole experience is very homelike and welcoming. Finca San Miguel is clearly a labor of love for the two proprietors, John & Felipe. The house, gardens, & fountains are lovingly cared for; the proprietors have created a veritable Garden of Eden. The meals are simple, fresh, and well-prepared. Meals are served alongside delicious juices, & the best hot chocolate & coffee imaginable. The rooms are very comfortable, and you’ll fall asleep to the sound of frogs singing at night. The proprietors will help you find the famous Willy Jeeps that take you back-and-forth to Filandia and can assist in arranging local trips. This is rural tourism...

The food is really good. Exceptional value for money. Breakfasts are awesome: exactly what you need in terms of quantity.

Overall, the value you get is really really high. It is an exceptional small boutique guesthouse/hotel.

I have rarely seen so much from just one place. I really loved the 5 days I spent there.

The hostel is run by its owner who lived and made much of his hotel career in Europe. The place is decorated in warm colors, impeccably clean and follows the hygienic rules strictly. Beautiful gardens and nice outside. Also nice and safe for families...
