Hotel Boutique La Ceiba — Hotel in Quindío

What an incredible experience. A beautiful small and perfect hotel in coffee country Colombia. We discovered it by accident and we are so glad we did. First the space is stunningly designed and set in lush gardens; second the rooms are so well thought out and appointed and immaculately clean; third the food is spectacular - home made by the owners and from farm to table (all bio) - preserves, cheeses, eggs, breads, fruits and of course their own coffee for breakfast and original tapas and cocktails for supper. Fourth the peace and tranquility is complemented by the birdsong. Fifth the internet is fast and consistent and I was able to work each morning undisturbed in the ample, beautiful and calm salon (with aircon). Finally the owners are delightful, well travelled former academics who know exactly what a guest may need and in their truly gorgeous part of the world - they sure do provide...

Paradise on Earth. Amazing facilities and the most gracious hosts you can find. Everything was superb: safety, rooms, location, surroundings, breakfast, nature, hospitality, day-trips, weather … . I cannot think of a better place to unwind, relax and appreciate the good things in life. In addition, both Paloma and Gustavo not only offer top-notch service but they are always interesting. Mi pareja y yo nos hemos quedado en La Ceiba 5 noches, y ha sido la mejor parte de nuestro viaje por Colombia. La finca es preciosa, con unas vistas y una naturaleza increíbles. Los anfitriones Paloma y Gustavo han estado atentos durante toda nuestra estancia y el desayuno no solo estaba exquisito, si no que se puede ver desde la mesa todo tipo de pájaros, mariposas y colibríes en el jardín. Hemos aprovechado las actividades que ofrecen como el paseo por la finca o por el cultivo de café que ellos mismo producen. Quedándonos en este hotel hemos podido disfrutar al máximo y de la manera más real el eje cafetero. Es muy fácil reservar excursiones a los pueblos cercanos y al valle del Cocora desde allí. Las habitaciones están impecables y cuidan todo detalle. No lo podemos recomendar más, una verdadera joya!...
