First, the staff was excellent. The problem was the manager/owner wasn't present the entire week we stayed with a group of Columbians & Americans. No hot water the first two days. The four rooms not connected to the main area was like staying in a barn. The animal smell was not acceptable! Riding wasn't available as listed on property. The cockroaches were "way too many" to even talk about and spiders in rooms. No amenities in rooms and the shower heads were terrible. Had to ask daily for towels which were plain to see on the floor to replace.||The staff were excellent cooks but no hot water in kitchen the entire week. How healthy is that?||If it wasn't for the great company of all the people, this place shouldn't be considered on any list!||The manager/owner needs to stay on the premises to accommodate...

This is a typical Colombian finca (farm) run to a very good standard. It is located close to 3 main parks in the Quimbaya/Montenegro area of the coffee growing region. There is a nice pool, a good if somewhat strenuous walk down (and up ofcourse) to the farms own waterfall. Plenty of birdlife, hummingbirds and others of spectacular plumage. The accommodation is spotlessly clean although as it is a working farm you may find the odd visitor and could well be woken up a bit earlier than planned by the dawn chorus which is fantastic. Food was marvellous and very reasonably priced. The owner Liliana was absolutely tremendous, nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of coffee all produced on site and most of the fruit and food is either from the farm or locally sourced. An ideal place to stay if you are...

We were on a road trip and rarely booked a hotel in advance. Trying our luck is so much more adventurous. And lucky we were with this place. ||Room was a okay, although we think, looking at some pictures, there were better rooms. A fan on the ceiling would be so much better and better looking than the one standing in the room. Wifi is weak and only available in the central space. As we are a bit of digital nomads, internet is quite essential for us. We would have loved to stay longer with a better connection.||The hotel is cozy and the few guests and the owners mingled easily. Friendly owners and staff. They serve simple but good dinners. The place is in the middle of nature and that is where it shines. And the star is a spectacular waterfall on the estate down in the valley. It's a steep walk...

Beautiful!! We enjoyed every minute, waking up to birds chirping and a beautiful view just unforgettable. Loved all the greenery and beautiful maintained gardens. Breakfast with a breath taking view and hummingbirds playing around you. Will miss Nala, she’s the best host ever. Getting to the location was a bit intricate if you get there at night..but Google maps will take you there with no issues. The room was bit warm for us since we are used to a/c but ok to sleep with a fan.
