This is a beautiful and charming home surrounded by fruit trees and a lush landscape. It’s in a very quiet, safe and clean part of the island. The property has belonged to one family for generations, and it’s a monument to that history and love. Everything is as advertised. I am a free diver and scuba diver, the snorkeling, that is just a minute walk from the gate, is great. There’s no beach, but for anyone that loves snorkeling, that is a good thing, sand limits visibility. I did not scuba dive, but it get’s deep quick and I could see that this would be a good scuba entry point. They offer a ladder that makes entering and exiting the water easy. They also have a large anchored floating raft so you can rest and play. The pool is clean and safe, it’s in great condition. The night lighting is colorful, pretty and affective. There are many, I mean many, places to take naps, many hammocks and lounge chairs. There’s lots of shade. We never used the air conditioning, the fans and ocean breeze was enough. With so many windows, getting a good breeze was never a problem. And the ocean air was fresh. Birds sing all day, thinking of them, and the gentle ocean breeze, makes me want to curl up in one of their hammocks right now. Lot’s of happy iguanas and tegus and birds will entertain you, as will a very cute and sweet cat. They offer breakfast, the food was good and inexpensive. And they have a full kitchen so you can also prepare your own food. This is a place where you could spend many days without leaving, it’s like having your own private hotel. The hosts are charming and sweet, and Hernán, the owner, speaks very good English and is warm, knowledgeable and professional. I hope to return to this...

Each bedroom has a large bathroom (toilet and showers with hot water) and each bedroom has its own private outdoor space. The kitchen and dining areas are very spacious. The grounds of the property are beautiful. The house is in a quiet area of the island and looks out onto the beautiful water. Loads of things to do and we especially enjoyed the sea carpet. It was great fun!
Hernán was very attentive to any request we had and help us to organised many activities (tour of the island, a spectacular boat trip) All his recommendations were spot on!
We very much enjoyed our time in the pool and also the BBQ area. His team Ana and Edwin were very attentive and always making sure we were ok.
If you are going to stay anywhere on the island, we would highly recommend ‘Ocean View’
Thank Hernán for everything, we will...
Read moreThis is definately the best place in San Andres! The hotel is located at the most beautiful side of the island and is easily accessible. The staff is friendly and very helpfull. The rooms are big and clean.||I spend 5 days in the hotel and felt extremely welcome. Hernan and the staff made me feel like I was at home and I got the opportunity to see the best spots of the island, from taking boat trips to horsebackriding in the hills.||As San Andres city can be very busy and full with tourists, this place is quiet and easily accessible by bus/car/bike/golfcard. Touristic attractions are nearby. Across the street you can get into the ocean to go snorkling or you can bike around with bikes from the hotel. The food at the hotel is excellent, they serve delicious vegetarian food.||Definately go here if you are looking for a tropical...
