Hospedaje Villa Mafe — Hotel in Santander

I had the most wonderful stay here, I wish it was longer than one night! Fernanda is such a lovely and friendly host. She made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived, I was given fresh pineapple from the farm which was delicious and she chatted to me about my hiking route (I was passing through Los Santos). The lodge is honestly perfect. It's simple but beautiful, the shower was lovely and refreshing, the kitchen had all of the amenities needed to cook and everything was new and so clean (a real treat when staying in hostels!!!). The bed was lovely and comfy too. I had the place to myself, Fernanda and Andrés live in the town but are attentive and contactable for anything you might need. It was such a lovely evening, I truly relaxed having this calm and tranquil little spot to myself. It's only a 5 minute walk from the square but feels as though you are completely in the countryside. A great place to relax, disconnect and get a good night's sleep! Fernanda left me fresh fruits from the farm to take with me the next day too - they are delicious!
