• Shame I arrived her after 7pm as this could’ve have been a really nice place to chill out.||• Staff were delightful despite front desk at night not really being able to speak English – smiles speak volumes and we got by in a very polite & friendly fashion.||• Room was beautiful and window opened up to a beautiful view, which I imagine they all do given the building was square, with traditional design, but very new.||• Like every hotel I’ve stayed at (perhaps a common theme) they don’t invest in large bathrooms. Interesting in this one, I had to hit a switch on the wall 15 minutes before showering to activate the hot water cylinder ☺||• Loved the Botero pictures scattered through the place and the gardens surrounding the hotel.||• Breakfast was entertaining with the waiter wearing a baseball cap & not speaking an ounce of English (and there was no menu). I loved the fact that we had no idea what each other was saying (and yes I had my translator book), but still managed to get an omelette and a breakfast that I wanted.||• Highlight: Watching hummingbirds in the flowers right in front of me at breakfast that I couldn’t for the life of me catch on camera. This is a very beautiful place near Chicamocha Canyon. It has a nice view and a delicious food menu, with glamorous typical dishes like goat and pepitoria. Additionally, the common areas are comfortable and the hotel employees were warm and fantastic. The complex offered a spectacular bar space, at night a chimney was turn on and everything went magic. In this travel we went to visit the Chicamocha park and it was very fun, we went to know and take pictures in La mesa de los santos and other towns near there that were beautiful.
