La Florida Casona Hotel — Hotel in Socha

What a pleasant surprise! After a curvy road trip in the dark we reached Socha in the evening and were greeted by the wonderful señora Chata! We cheekily brought our dog and she was allowed to stay in the beautiful garden of the property. The architecture of this old colonial house is wonderful, complete with a patio, a veranda and a lounge with chimney - great to warm up after a windy paramo hike! All is well-maintaned, spotless and radiates warmth and homeliness. Breakfast is great! Matresses are comfy and it is peaceful. We had a great stay here with friendly staff and a nice breakfast. Absolutely beautiful hotel with lovely gardens inside a walled compound. Decorated with antiques. Terrific hosts. Only a short walk to the main square restaurants....

El hotel es muy hermoso, sus habitaciones son acogedoras y calientes, lo cual es muy importante dado el clima del pueblo, sin embargo contaba con poco papel de baño y muy escaso jabón líquido, las cobijas fueron suficientes pero la cama sonaba bastante con cada movimiento, lo compensaba un poco las sábanas que eran espectaculares. El personal que atiende es amable, nos llamó mucho la atención que nunca hicieron un check in o registro y solo recibían pago en efectivo, pagamos $180.000 por una noche para dos adultos y un niño de 2 años, lo cual a mi parecer es superior para la zona. En nuestro caso el desayuno NO estuvo incluido como lo leo en otros comentarios, sólo nos dieron una pequeña porción de fruta...
