Las Montañas del Edén — Hotel in Ubalá

A peaceful little farm, situated in the mountains of Colombia. The air is clean and the view from the finca is incredible. There are also many places in the gardens to chill out and enjoy the sun and the vista! The buildings are all decorated beautifully, with so many paintings and a lot of art. The Wi-Fi works great and the amenities are top notch.

Carlos, Gleydiz and Pedro are all so kind and welcoming. The various cats and dogs that live on the property are also so cute and friendly.

There are many towns located nearby (often just a short hike away). The property is also located near a waterfall (the best way to wake up in the morning) and a beautiful lagoon.

It is a just a few hours from Bogotá, and well worth the short bus journey. I will definitely be...

Spending some time in Las Montañas del Edén has been an amazing experience. Carlos, Gleydiz and Don Pedro (his parents) are incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from the very beginning.

There are plenty of spaces to relax around the finca, as well as areas to explore nearby (a waterfall, the magic tree, a green lagoon and the villages of Ubalá, Gachetá and Gachala). The sleeping area is in the attic and it's extremely cozy with plenty of blankets to keep warm in the evenings. Another plus are the really friendly cats and dogs on the farm that were so nice to be around too.

If you're looking to immerse yourself in Colombian culture and relax in nature, I could not recommend Montañas del Edén enough. A must-visit...

Las montañas del Edén es un lugar mágico, que transmite paz y tranquilidad. La vista que tiene es increíble y despertar cada mañana en medio de las montañas a veces entre nubes no se compara con nada. Carlos y sus padres son excelentes anfitriones, te hacen sentir muy acogida y bien recibida. La comida que prepara Gley es muy buena por cierto. En general el ambiente es muy lindo con los perritos Vallenato y Cumbia siempre cuidándote ❤️

La zona de acampado está muy bien pensada, hay varia en terras planas para poder poner la tienda, una zona para hacer fogata, una para hacer yoga y estiramientos, además hay un lindo camino que te lleva a unas pequeñas cascadas dentro de la finca y otros que te llevan a la presa (hacia abajo) y a la laguna (hacia arriba). En fin pasé días maravillosos, ente juegos de mesa, música y noches estrelladas. 🌌🏕️
