Country Hotel Llano Dorado — Hotel in Villavicencio

Where to start, this has been more than just a hotel for me. As I was traveling alone, obviously I was looking for a little solitude and was simultaneously looking for some intermingling with the people from Villavo. I initially came to stay 4-5 days it has now been more than 2 weeks.||||I was expecting to spend far more time alone than what ended up happening and this was a good thing. The owners have treated me like their son, and if you've ever traveled in Colombian especially as a foreigner you know that every day is a new adventure filled with surprises. ||||I have lived in Colombia sporadically over the past 4 years, mostly in Bogotá, but Villavo is now my new favorite place. The people here are so friendly it's hard to even compare with Bogotá.||||Thanks to the openess and kindness of the residents of Villavo and of this hotel I can now say that I have many more freinds, and I will definitely be coming back.||||As far as the hotel goes we are talking about a range of $30-$60 US per night and you get what you pay for no less no more. The rooms are comfortable, but there is no AC in the rooms something that is nice but makes it feel all that much hotter when you step outside. The pool is relaxing, there are plenty of spots to read and just relax.||||The service is great, laundry service, breakfast is included, there is always someone to hang out with or talk to so if you're traveling alone this is a plus.||||The hotel is a little ways away from the centro but as I have a car I haven't found this much of an issue actually its kind of nice to be out in the jungle a little ways. I could go on and on about this place but if you are looking for a comfortable experience and not looking to shell out hundreds of dollars a night this is your place. This has truly been an "authentic" Colombian experience which goes far beyond the room and the service as far as I'm concerned. Hope this...

It's a small family run Hotel.||The property is well kept and well run. ||The staff helped me out for the night stay. ||||This is a very kid/family friendly Hotel. ||From a pool to a small playground, to a game room area. ||||For people try to find some a one time it is also great. The area is very quite and also make you feel right at home. It is a bit far from the center of town but again great to get away from the crazy city. ||||The rooms were very clean, no AC so make sure to drink...

He ido en dos ocasiones y precisamente porque me encanta, es un lugar acogedor, con un excelente servicio por parte de las niñas que atienden. Cocinan muy rico (El desayuno puede mejorar.... Es básico pero por su precio se entiende; que lo sirvan en Desechables es bastante desagradable, se entiende que por pandemia e higiene pero, ya en restaurantes se hace uso de loza.) Otra observación que dejo es.... Solicité una decoración para cumpleaños que por su precio si me pareció muy muy básica... Ahora bien por el excelente servicio y atención en cuanto a los detalles de poner las antorchas y fogata cambio la percepción. Recomiendo validen el precio y calidad de la decoración sea acorde. Precisamente porque se que todo es costoso hoy día no pido rebajas o descuentos y esperaba más en la decoración.... Recalco que fué una decoración de cumpleaños quizá las decoraciones románticas sean mejor. Si desean hacer esto sean muy enfáticos en validar que están contratando.
