Hotel Emanuel — Hotel in Aguabuena

This hotel was centrally located. The owners were very pleasant and offered another room as our original room wasn't appropriate. Just be careful using your credit card as the owner doesn't understand a "chip" card. She ended up compromising our credit card because of punching in all sorts of numbers and not allowing us to use our pin number. This was extremely inconvenient. Rooms were clean but very very noisy. There is only drywall between the rooms. You could hear the adjoining guests when they yawned, spoke to each other or even just having a conversation. Because of the close proximity to the main road, the motorcycles zoom by way into the wee hours of the morning. Things calmed down around midnight. We were only booked for one night and wouldn't have stayed any...

The touches of her details, including hand embroidered bedding and in every room is her handmaid, art! This Place it’s not only a place to stay, but an inspiring and educating experience in her commitment to sustainable tourism. She proudly showed her certificate and signs made for every room, encouraging guests to be mindful of their water use, electricity use, and recycling bins where each of our trash goes. Just south of San Vito we stayed in this lovely hotel. The owners were very kind and welcoming to us.
