Rafting y Aventuras 360 — Hotel in Alegría

This was so worth it! Definitely skip the cruise ship excursion and opt for this instead! Alvaro picked us up at the ship and drove us to his lovely home, where we changed and readied for our adventure. We had an amazing time rafting, even though the weather didn’t cooperate and it was raining the whole time. C’est la vie, we were gonna get wet in the river anyway! Angel was an amazing guide. We saw a sloth and some monkeys, thoroughly enjoyed the sights and the rafting, and even got to jump in the river and float for a time. What an awesome experience. After, they drove us back to Alvaro’s house where we had hot showers!! What an unexpected treat! Then a delicious homemade lunch that Alvaro’s wife had been cooking for us while we were gone. Organic coffee, juice from fruit on their property, chicken, beans, rice, salad; it all hit the spot so well! Can’t recommend this excursion enough. It was a highlight of our 11 day cruise. Must book!!! Do not miss out on this thrilling adventure and delicious homemade meal from the safest kindest people to experience the Pacuare River with!!! Octavian our raft guide, Jose his right hand man and Andre in his kayak for extra Saftey with me and my husband. Our raft guide knew exactly what he was doing. Expect to paddle forward. Jumping out of the raft and floating through the canyon was our favorite along with learning about the indigenous people who live in the mountains along the river. The homemade meal was outstanding I had veggie and my husband had chicken. They served a secret recipe sauce and 'nuse' juice from a fruit tree in their garden. There is also a large house airbnb that we will def been booking when we return... with amazing healthy home...

One of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had. While the Rafting was Great & the Scenery was Breathtaking, I’ve rafted a lot of world class Class IV & V Whitewater. What made this experience especially Memorable l, however, was the personal touch & attention to detail that Alvaro & his wife showed our Family.

After completing the Day of Rafting, we were invited back to their home, where they made All the Rafters from the Trip an Absolutely Delicious homemade lunch, including a tour of their Beautiful property with all of their Fruit Trees. I wish there was a 6 Star Rating option, because if so, that’s what I would have given them!
