La Colina Pura Vista — Hotel in Bejuco

This is a fantastic place for a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Our cabin was really comfortable. A lot of wildlife just behind the cabin. A hotel with currently only 2 cabins and 1 room but big enough to host many more people you really have your peace. A nice pool from edict you can watch the sunset. And the beach is maybe a 5 mins drive away. We normally walked there. Deserted. Fantastic warm water to swim in. The sea is a bit rough at times. But there is a little bay to swim in. A few locals. The rare tourist. Food excellent at the hotel every evening. There are just a few outside the hotel options and we found it most relaxing to have Laurent cooking for us ;). Good bar. Good drinks. The two hosts are excellent. Corinne and Laurent. Their dog and cat. You start feeling part of their family. Almost wanted to move there ;) We will come back again. Can fully recommend it. It is exactly what it is marketed. Don’t expect party. Don’t expect a lot of entertainment. But expect nature you can walk in. Wildlife. Empty beaches. And to leave totally relaxed. My husband and I loved our stay at the Colina Pura Vista B&B. It’s absolutely worth the not so easy drive to get there. Everything was perfect. The view is just something else.. The sunsets we had there..!! I’ve never seen such sunsets before.😊 The hosts are lovely people. They make you feel like at home and really look after you which is priceless. Breakfast was amazing. We stayed there for a week and every day we had a different local fresh fruit juice and home made bread with home made jam + cooked breakfast. In addition to that the place is spotlessly clean and very beautifully decorated. There is attention to detail there in everything - decor, service, food.. I think it’s a great value for the money you pay. There are some nice restaurants around and absolutely stunning beaches. San Miguel was our favourite. We saw iguanas, monkeys, parrots and even an armadillo. ||Just remember you definitely need a car to get there,...

Very beautiful remote location, perfect place for a nice getaway! Very quiet - the only thing you will hear are the wildlife around and the waves from the ocean :) You can spot a lot of animals in and around the garden. The view is absolute first class and you can enjoy it right from bed, or from anywhere around the property. The bungalow, the garden and the pool area are all very beautifully made with a lot of attention to details. The roads in the area are unpaved and have a lot of holes, so a 4wd and high clearance car is recommended. The short road up to the property can be a little difficult during rainy season so a 4wd is required but the hosts can help with transfer or if you are with a backpack you can even walk up like we did, it takes like 10 minutes.
