Hotel Hawa — Hotel in Cahuita

The place is in disrepair. The wood railing are all dry rotted. The bathroom is missing window pains. The place is tucked away in the woods no AC or fans in the the room, so prepare to be very sweaty. There is a major bee infestation and swarms surrounding the hotel. The pool looks nice. The beds are nothing more than a large piece of foam. Big bathroom but the tiles are chipped and cracked. I would give one star but it was cool seeing the wildlife around the building. I pulled into this hotel as I needed to access the internet to check for some urgent emails. The owner/manager Janna sat me by the swimming pool and brought me some coffees while I was connected to the hotel's wi-fi. Pésima la atención, el estado de las habitaciones en completo descuido (inodoro semi destruido, le faltan piezas al enchape del baño), no hacen limpieza de habitación diaria, permiten fumar en cualquier área del hotel, los huéspedes hacen ruido hasta la madrugada en el área de las habitaciones, no funciona el sistema de reservas, y al pagar con tarjeta de crédito me cobraron un monto adicional, aduciendo que entonces me tenían que cobrar los impuestos (se deduce que son evasores de impuestos).
