The hotel targets travellers arriving or departing vom San Jose International Airport and can be called a transit hotel. Arrived at around 6.00 PM it took about 25-30min to come to the hotel through dense traffic.||Our room had two double beds. Bed linen was clean. I would estimate that the room is ordinarily equipped - nothing special and not focussed on atmosphere. Some equipment like the shower heads I would not assess to have a good quality / provide a good level of comfort.||The hotel is situated on a nice premise so you can have some few steps around and watch some birds / insects.||The breakfast was good.||Though we have not used it, the pool does look nice and with more time I would have gone for a swim. ||San Jose International Airport operates also during the night. If you need absolute quietness, the place might not be for you as you clearly hear arriving / departing planes...... (well it´s not LAX or ORD, few planes only). ||We would consider to repeat for a transit stop as I think there are not really a lot of comparable options.....price level is...

After three weeks of traveling through Costa Rica, we ended our holiday at this resort in the best possible way. This hotel is only 20 mins away from the airport and you are avoiding the busy and not so interesting San José area. Except for the occasional low-flying airplane, you really find here quietness due to the limited number of rooms (or maybe better small bungalows) and the big and peaceful garden. |The rooms are beautiful with two big beds, a kitchenette (and minibar) and a big bath room (with inner but also fancy outer shower). There is also a little terrace in the front of the bungalow with some privacy. |The swimming pool is not so big and not so warm but fits well within the surroundings. |The reception is also the restaurant, the menu is rather limited but the food and juices were good as well as breakfast the next morning. Most of the staff doesn't speak English but they were all friendly...
