It's a beautifully located little farm with goats and some other animals and the friendly family who lives there offers nice lodges in the backyard to rent. There is a large open area for eating, sitting, washing dishes and a fridge, coffee maker etc and also toilets, showers and sinks. They kindly let us (rooftop tent) stay at their entrance because they don't have an area for camper vans yet, but are planning on setting one up in the future. At the moment there is enough space for many normal tents and maybe 2-3 cars with rooftop tents, plus cabins/lodges. The family is very kind and helpful, cooked pasta in the evening and served pancakes for breakfast in the morning. There are two baby goats running around with a few dogs and of course beautiful nature wherever you look. The family produces their own goat milk. We only stayed for 1 night because we were on our way to the other coast, so we have not seen much of the area nearby. It is very calm, away from all traffic and you get to it over a bumpy road (4×4 recommended).

Read moreAt the end of a mile long unpaved bumpy road is a little slice of paradise away from the rest of the world. We were greeted by the owner, three dogs and two of the cutest baby goats! The property is gorgeous and includes a short hike through the jungle along a beautiful creek. The cabin itself was nicely designed, very comfortable, private. One of the things we love most about traveling is meeting other travelers and this lodge is perfectly set up for this by providing a common area with tables, as well as cards and games in the cabin. you won't want to leave once you arrive, so it was amazing to learn that the family hosting us was providing dinner as well as breakfast. There's no menu. It'll probably be pasta and salad, but they can accomodate a vegetarian diet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Do be aware that there is no internet. So take care of any business before you start up the...
Read moreWe stayed here on our way from the north to Cahuita, and it was such a delightful stop! The cabins are beautifully crafted, filled with small, thoughtful details that showcase the owner's creativity and artistry, giving the whole place a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The farm itself is charming, with adorable goats, sheep, and two lovely dogs that add to the experience. Jorge, the owner, was incredibly hospitable—he made delicious pancakes for breakfast, served with homemade goat yogurt and strawberry jam. Before we left, he surprised us with his homemade ice cream; I had breadfruit, and my husband tried the coconut and fruit flavor. Both were amazing! Also he showed us a rare peanut head bug, it was so strange!
The property is so peaceful, spotlessly clean, and perfect for relaxation. It’s an ideal place to stop on the way to the Caribbean coast. Highly...
