Granja Agua Azul — Hotel in La Fortuna

A beautiful apartment nestled in the countryside. Just a 10 minute drive from La Fortuna we really enjoyed our stay at Granja Agua Azul. The owners were so friendly and communicative.

The flat itself was clean, spacious with two double beds in the same room. The kitchen is fully stocked, including with coffee. Unfortunately our shower was cold and never went warm and the bins are a little small.

However, the real highlight was the patio area. With rocking chairs and a hammock you can take in their beautiful garden and if you're lucky, see their cows or chickens pass by. Such bliss! It's so quiet all you can hear are the noises of wildlife. Definitely a must stay over...

What a wonderful place!

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's superbly clean, there's a stove, refrigerator, and coffee maker (and a few other kitchen things). Bring your own food and drinks.

It's a ten or fifteen minute drive to town and the closest stores, so come prepared.

Lovely covered patio and air conditioning if it's too warm outside.

The only minor complaints I have was that the wifi was very weak inside the room and cell service here is weak.

There is hot water in the shower, but I could not get the temperature to stay consistent and soon ran out...

What a fantastic place. I am not sure if the owner or the garden are the absolute highlight of this accomondation.

We had a very warm welcome, and fantastic and very fun times during our stay with the cows, the sloth that is occationally on site, and all the colibris in the front garden.
