Peacock Country Estate — Hotel in La Fortuna

Previously, I booked this place for my 26th birthday vacation in La Fortuna ..with very little planning and expectations. When I first booked, Nohelia emailed me with very cohesive instructions on the services, excursions, and accommodations that are provided when booking The Peacock Estate. LET ME TELL YOU.......Nohelia, was SUCH a help in booking THEE BEST excursions for our group, finding friendly price bundles, prepping AMAMZING meals for our arrival, giving us the best TIPS for restaurants to eat at and stay away from. With this being said, our trip was planned to a T but not overwhelmed with TOO many excursions to cause our group to feel drained throughout the day. Oh, did I also mention she arranged transportation for our group to be picked up at the (SJO) San Jose Airport and taken to the Peacock Estate and......transportation for ALL the excursions.....AND transportation back to the airport for our last day, ALLL for a GREAT price!! Nohelia's service is one of a kind, as she stated, "Jordan, I like to think of us as friends not just a random host" One last thing, there's a restaurant up the street called Eden Chocolate, (I believe), some of the best food you'll have during your entire stay!!!! All in all, this place and service is 1000/10.....yes people, it's THAT...

This is our first trip to Costa Rica and we enjoyed every minute of our time at the Peacock Estate. The spacious commons area was perfect for our combined group of 11. The kids played pool multiple times a day and we loved swimming in the beautiful, clean, refreshing pool after our daytime adventures (rappelling, zip lining, white water rafting, hanging bridges). We also enjoyed walking along the path to the river where our younger children splashed and played. Our three older kids ran the path (in preparation for cross country) as it’s about a quarter mile loop. There’s so much to do on the estate including sand volleyball and a soccer field that is mowed to perfection. Plus, the beds are super comfortable which makes for peaceful slumber. William and Laura were informative, helpful and friendly with setting up our stay and Christian was amazing during our stay. One night our power went out for about 45 min and he came over and reset the router so we had Wi-Fi immediately following the outage. We can’t wait to...

This place is an oasis. Amazing gardens, wildlife (peacock, deer, horse...) and the house is huge (it is easy to get lost). A couple of detractions are the location (it is in a main road used by a lot of trucks and you hear the brake systems a lot), and the security cameras (we understood the need for them outside but it was a little disconcerting to have them inside the house).
