Finca Quietud — Hotel in Lagunillas

Fina Quietud was our final stop after a wonderful week in Costa Rica.

Finca Quietud is a hidden gem in Tarcoles, Costa Rica – a tranquil bed & breakfast owned and lovingly run by Marie Laurie and Jean Michel. From the moment you arrive, you feel genuinely welcomed by these warm and gracious hosts.

The property is nestled in a lush, bird-filled setting, ideally located along the migration path of the stunning Scarlet Macaws. Birdwatchers will be in heaven here – the variety and sheer number of birds around the finca is extraordinary. The views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is peaceful and rejuvenating.

The rooms are spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated, offering a comfortable and restful stay. The pool area is beautifully maintained and a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring.

Breakfast is an absolute highlight. We were treated to fresh crepes, smoothies, homemade jellies, eggs, and an abundance of tropical fruit – everything fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. It was the perfect start to our day.

An extra touch of charm is Marie’s beautiful handmade dresses, which reflect her artistry and the vibrant spirit of the region.

If you’re looking for a serene, authentic Costa Rican experience with warm hospitality, beautiful nature, and excellent food, Finca Quietud is not to be missed.
