Unfortunately, the reviews that are all over internet about the owner, have a lot of truth to them. The place and the area is amazing, lots of nature, peace and quiet, flowers, animals. Although the issue is with the owner. Vladimir is very bad at communication. Maybe it's his lack of English and Spanish or just pure arrogance? I agreed to rent a brand new apartment, paid my deposit. I had no updates, I had to follow up myself. No promised pictures. Today was my day of moving in. AC was only in one room, not both bedrooms as described. Place was dirty. No racks in wardrobes or shelving. Bed awful, hard like a floor and it looked like someone slept in it , there was dirt and marks all over bedsheets and dirty stains. Furniture all looked second hand. Flaws from poor builders work. No appropriate lighting in the salon. No laundry room as promised. They just put the basic laundry machine right outside the house, plugged into the wall - as soon as the rain comes, am I supposed to get electrocuted??? The entrance is super bad only doable by 4x4 to that specific unit, even though I specified i have 2x4. On the terrace they put just 2 cheap plastic chairs, which literally, as I spoke to the neighbours...flew away from the balcony!!! The list goes on. I wish I took pictures. The worst thing was , I wanted to find a solution to an issue. But as soon as I texted some of them, Vladimir just told me to go look for another house. I was lucky, as I have my other home, but basically there's no communication with that person. Maybe it's a Russians character. I advise you are very cautious with this place. Place is lovely, but you will have to invest a lot of extra money, time and effort to make it look like it does on pictures or houses that he presents. The other houses were basically furnished by the people who live there with their own money. The price is good and tempting but hassle not worth it. I rented in Costa Rica from only local landlords before. Never came across this...
Read moreThe houses and apartments are located in a beautiful place between cities of Nicoya and Santa Cruz. There are many flowers and plants on the territory. There is a large public swimming pool. The apartment I rented was furnished with good new, modern furniture, the kitchen was equipped with everything necessary for life, including cooking utensils. The owner Vladimir is very charming and ready to help at any time. The area around the house is large and well-groomed. Construction of a new house was underway in the village, but this did not interfere, since it was located at a sufficient distance from my house and was completed a month after my arrival. The place is also unique in that it is located in the center of the world famous Blue Zone of Longevity. The place is quiet and cozy, there is a clinic and a large supermarket nearby. Unfortunately, I had to move to San Jose, but I will remember with great pleasure and gratitude the year I spent at Wild Acres Village. Thank you very much to Vladimir, who came to my aid more than once and always surprised me with his intelligence and kindness. I hope I'll...
