Serenity Rainforest Condos — Hotel in Peñas Blancas

We stayed at the Chachagua Villas in January for our honeymoon. Everything about our stay surpassed all expectations. Our villa was equipped with everything we could possibly need. Full kitchen, bathroom, balcony, and closet. The entire villa was huge and gave us a ton of space to relax and enjoy. We even had an attached garage they lead right up to our Villa. We spent a lot of time outside where there is a half mile walking path that takes you around the property. You can see Arenal Volcano in the background before going downhill to the trees. We actually spotted a toucan up in the trees above. After a nice hike, we would cool off at the pool which had a little diving platform that was so much fun. If you want to get out for the day you can book an excursion with the resort. They can even book you a massage, in the massage room, right on the property. Lastly, Daniel was the best person to work with. He was extremely responsive, quick, and welcoming. He gave us great local recommendations and took care of everything we needed (even after arriving late from a delayed flight). I cannot recommend staying here enough. This place was practically a home away from home! Not your typical small hotel room. the room, living room and bathroom with laundry room (washer and dryer).
