Great place to relax and enjoy proximity to nature. The residents are nice, The trails around are very beautiful (you could probably visit them all in 2 days, 1 day if you really rush through them), and there really are lot's of Toucans! Bear in mind - It's a very secluded area, and it takes 20 minutes with a 4WD to get to the nearest town (I cannot stress this enough - don't try to get there with a 2wd car). While staying there, we also took excursions from Sierpe and Uvita, so that's possible. The property manager can help you with that- he's great. There's also a zip line and other activities nearby, which we didn't do. I highly recommend 👌

We stayed here 5 years ago. Really great place in a isolated location. But as long as you don’t mind the 20 up and down the mountain it’s not a problem. The view up is amazing. Back then it was great as every few days we would get a basket of fruit, veggies and eggs from the property. Also Loved the banana box where we could get fresh bananas each day. We drove back up there today. I believe it is now called toucan valley . I don’t know why it has gone through these changes and that is the only reason I give it 4 stars now

Osa Mountain Village was truly our home away from home while we were in Costa Rica. Our family of 5 stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa (34B) and loved it. We had some issues with the hot water heater and the A/C, but the on-site staff was quick to help us fix it and even allowed us to take hot showers in another unit in the interim. The pool area is STUNNING and the laundry facility is super convenient. We loved meeting the residents and getting to know them down at the bar every night. Spending Christmas and New Years away from home can be daunting, but the people at OMV truly made us feel like we were part of a big happy family. If you have the opportunity to stay here, get your 4x4 vehicle and head up the mountain - you will not be...

I visited Osa Mountain Village a few years ago and had a fabulous experience. They even allowed us to adopt a beautiful black lab female that was homeless on our trip in-- and we found a permanent home for her! The zip line tours are breathtaking, the forest setting and commanding view of the Pacific and the nature preserve to the south across a gorgeous valley with a river... WoW! Highly recommend to those who avoid touristy locations and desire an authentic, nature bound trip! (Oh, and did I mention simply the freshest & tastiest eggs on...
