Needed a place to stay while visiting San Marcos de Tarrazu and I was told by friends that this place was the best option around so we went there and booked a couple of nights. The receptionist was polite and attentive. They have a small gated parking space with surveillance and security personnel for the premises 24/7 which is a plus. The surroundings were well maintained and the facilities were clean. There's a good size pool on site. Our cabin had everything we needed but it was a bit outdated. There was a lack of that Costa Rican vibe and small details like blackout curtains should be taking into consideration since no everybody tolerates sunlight early in the morning. Read moreWe stayed in one of the lovely garden cabins one night while hiking the El Camino De Costa Rica tour. The rooms had comfortable beds, clean bathroom and mini fridge that we appreciated. In a quiet area by a college, the property has a nice territory view and a large swimming pool that was chilly but we still swam there and enjoyed the pool deck. The onsite restaurant served tasty typical Costa Rician fare by kind staff. We just had a short drive up to the starting point of dirt road used for mountain biking or in our case, hiking the el Camino trail. I wished we had a full day to enjoy this...
