Really and truly, this is an outstanding property. Eduardo and Betty have created a space of unimaginable beauty—a paradise within a paradise. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and you will find many native plants and animals to learn about and enjoy. On our last day, a sloth came to visit the gardens. The main guest area is in a glass enclosure that allows you to see the surrounding landscaping. It is amazingly peaceful during rainstorms. ||As a native of Costa Rica, Eduardo is incredibly knowledgeable about the surrounding area and culture. If you love the things you have heard about Costa Rica but come without much of a plan, Eduardo will help you create a magical experience for your family, based on your specific interests. We loved the coffee tour and our daughter (6) enjoyed roasting the coffee beans and grinding the coffee. She happily played with the swings and in the beautiful garden areas. Eduardo is an artist as well as an outstanding host. You can tell that he has an artist's eye just by the way the grounds are arranged, and he is happy to take perfectly framed pictures of your family if you choose to tour with him. ||It has been said before in other reviews, but really and truly, Betty is an outstanding cook, and there is nothing like her cooking coupled with the coffee and coffee tea from the farm. We purchased as much coffee and coffee-tea as would fit in our luggage. It is not enough. ||Our daughter loved the first breakfast so much that we decided to try some dinners, as well. It was a wise decision. Our favorite things (which cannot be ranked, because they are all excellent) are the chicken curry, paella, arepas, eggplant lasagna, gallo pinto, guanabana en leche, and the salchichón. The fajitas may be the best we have ever had. Our daughter’s favorite was Betty’s homemade oreo ice cream. We actually forgot to buy our daughter ice cream on our last day but it didn’t matter; Betty’s was probably better, anyway. ||We already miss this place and will treasure our memories forever. Muchas gracias, Eduardo,...

You should go ahead and request to book this property right now. It's hard to summarize how wonderful it is, but I’ll try.

Eduardo and Betty have created a paradise within a paradise. The grounds are beautifully maintained, full of native plants and wildlife—there was even a sloth in the garden on our last day. The main guest space is a glass enclosure surrounded by lush landscaping; it’s especially peaceful during rainstorms.

Eduardo, a Costa Rica native, is incredibly knowledgeable about the area. If you arrive without a set plan, he’ll help you design an unforgettable experience tailored to your interests. We loved the coffee tour—our 6-year-old especially enjoyed roasting and grinding the beans. She spent hours happily exploring the swings and gardens. Eduardo is both an artist and a gracious host; he took many beautifully framed photos of our family.

Betty’s cooking is phenomenal—every meal was a highlight. We loved everything: chicken curry, paella, eggplant lasagna, gallo pinto, arepas, guanabana en leche, salchichón, and the fajitas. Our daughter’s favorite was Betty’s homemade Oreo ice cream—better than anything we could have bought.

We already miss this place and will treasure the memories forever. Muchas gracias, Eduardo,...

Highly recommend staying here. You’ll be surrounded by nature and still only a few minutes from the city.

The couple hosting are some of the nicest people we have met in Costa Rica.

The main bedroom is located above the house, the room is made of glass so you have 369 views of the nature you’re surrounded in.

On the property they have access to the river nearby.

You will hear birds, the river and wind blowing on trees.

There’s more to do on this property than just sleeping in a bedroom. You can enjoy every part of this property.

There are fresh fruits growing all around you, the hosts are kind enough to let us sample any fruits we like, anytime.

Our favourite part was seeing hummingbirds fly all...

We stayed at this VRBO during our visit to Costa Rica. It's a beautiful flower and coffee farm. It was a very enjoyable experience and the accommodation were comfortable and clean. The host was friendly and provided information about local activities and good restaurants. I would stay here again.
