Really and truly, this is an outstanding property. Eduardo and Betty have created a space of unimaginable beauty—a paradise within a paradise. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and you will find many native plants and animals to learn about and enjoy. On our last day, a sloth came to visit the gardens. The main guest area is in a glass enclosure that allows you to see the surrounding landscaping. It is amazingly peaceful during rainstorms. ||As a native of Costa Rica, Eduardo is incredibly knowledgeable about the surrounding area and culture. If you love the things you have heard about Costa Rica but come without much of a plan, Eduardo will help you create a magical experience for your family, based on your specific interests. We loved the coffee tour and our daughter (6) enjoyed roasting the coffee beans and grinding the coffee. She happily played with the swings and in the beautiful garden areas. Eduardo is an artist as well as an outstanding host. You can tell that he has an artist's eye just by the way the grounds are arranged, and he is happy to take perfectly framed pictures of your family if you choose to tour with him. ||It has been said before in other reviews, but really and truly, Betty is an outstanding cook, and there is nothing like her cooking coupled with the coffee and coffee tea from the farm. We purchased as much coffee and coffee-tea as would fit in our luggage. It is not enough. ||Our daughter loved the first breakfast so much that we decided to try some dinners, as well. It was a wise decision. Our favorite things (which cannot be ranked, because they are all excellent) are the chicken curry, paella, arepas, eggplant lasagna, gallo pinto, guanabana en leche, and the salchichón. The fajitas may be the best we have ever had. Our daughter’s favorite was Betty’s homemade oreo ice cream. We actually forgot to buy our daughter ice cream on our last day but it didn’t matter; Betty’s was probably better, anyway. ||We already miss this place and will treasure our memories forever. Muchas gracias, Eduardo,...

Betty’s cooking is phenomenal—every meal was a highlight. We loved everything: chicken curry, paella, eggplant lasagna, gallo pinto, arepas, guanabana en leche, salchichón, and the fajitas. Our daughter’s favorite was Betty’s homemade Oreo ice cream—better than anything we could have bought.
