Bug infested and the manager told us "bugs are normal in Costa Rica. Bugs yes, infestations no. We checked in late on Feb 27th for 2 nights. On the morning of the 28th the 3 of us discovered that we all felt bites during the night. We had also discovered that the standard suite does not have a King bed or jacuzzi that was in their description. They told us the standard room does not have those items. I showed them the description on their website, and they promised to fix it. We than talked to the manager after they offered to move to a new room. If one was infested, why wouldn't the other be infested? We were all very uncomfortable, so we wanted to leave. The manager told.us we could leave, but they would offer no compensation for the website description error, nor the infestation. Horrible handling of an upsetting situation. We left, and found much better accomadations.

The restaurant hours are very restrictive. The information says there is 24 hour concierge but it's actually 24 hour front desk with the employees not having much information or suggestions about area restaurants. Questions were answered without helpful elaboration. The kitchen supplies are very limited (2 plates, 2 fork, 2 spoons, 2 glasses, 2 butter knives, 2 cutting knives (1 very damaged), 2 pots, 1 pan...scratched and scorched. There are no stores or restaurants within walking distance from the hotel which seems would prompt the hotel to expand on what their restaurant offers. There is no menu to order from, only buffet offered. Breakfast is included, but lunch is $20 a plate. I didn't bother to ask the price for dinner. This is definitely a self-service hotel. The spa was very nice. The ladies were very helpful and accommodating. The spa was a great experience.

Feels more like apartment living rather than a hotel. The staff is really kind and personable. They make it a point to know who you are. The apartments are clean, they are pet friendly. The grounds are well kept and the Jacuzzi, spa and pool are a plus. It's a bit far from most things, but you can take a walk around the corner to a small pulpería to stock up on some groceries if you like. Uber is easy to catch from Casa Conde and Uber Eats delivery service was great as well. Secured gated parking with a guard. It's quiet, the apartment furniture is comfortable, but the kitchen lacks dishes, towels, cleaning supplies. Some units have washer and dryer.

Please do not make the same mistake I made, as a multi-family group.|There is no restaurant here despite the many photos showing a bar and restaurant that you find on various websites. There is only an empty bar that now has boxes of junk stored behind it.||There is no AC! You can open the windows but there are no screens, and yes there are big cockroaches here, we saw some, so you may want to keep those windows closed.||There was a small safe in the room but the staff person did not know how to work it and it appeared to be broken, so it could not be used.||There is no hat water, showers are cold to lukewarm every day. The "hot tub" is also only lukewarm and is turned off every day at 6pm (just when you may want to use it, if it were hot) so it has no chance to ever warm up or perhaps the heater is broken.|The saunas are both broken and it doesn't to appear anyone intends to fix them.||The "fully stocked kitchens" are in very poor condition and have almost nothing in them. We had to make do with two forks, a couple of bowls, 2 plates, and 2 rusty beat up pots. No spatula, coffee filters, cork screw, oven mitts, soap or sponges, paper towels - almost nothing in the kitchens. Even the bedroom did not have a lamp. The living room had one dirty beat up love seat, not enough for a multi-bedroom unit. The only thing they will provide you with is a roll of toilet paper each day. Everything else you have to buy on your own so get ready to go shopping at Walmart-Mart as soon as you get in.||This is not a hotel. There is no "front desk you can call. There is one single Spanish-only speaking person on site from 7am - 7pm that is all, except for a security guard at the gate because this neighbourhood is super sketchy - almost all the homes have razor wire on high walls around them, and there are no shops or restaurants nearby. There are no tours you can book through this place, no gift shop (as my vacation provider had advertised) and really no lobby, although you are allowed to sit in the abandoned bar and restaurant if you want to Uber eats your own food. But don't expect them to provide you with a plate of forks, because they no longer have any. If you do ask for any assistance, be prepared to deal with a 20 year old receptionist who gives no Fs and can't help you - there is no one on site managing this place. ||This is a run down apartment building mostly used by locals who are coming into the...

I see people complaining here and they are being petty. The pictures are not deceiving at all. The hotel is off the beaten path but who cares? They have a security guard on duty 24 hrs a day. The hotel grounds are beautiful. Anyway, I arrived 2 hours early. My better 1/2, her son and I arrived using UBER (which someone said you had to use a taxi service and not UBER). Vladimir told me not to worry, that my room was ready. What a great guy. Next to him has Rudulfo which is also awesome. Then while getting the room swipe cards we all get a welcome drink (what other hotels do that?) Vladimir even took us to our room! Yes, it is like you're staying in an apartment but I like privacy so it was perfect. Yes, the kitchen is small but how many hotels offer a full kitchen? The beds are very comfortable and clean. Usually, you only get 1 small bar of soap, 2 shampoos, and 2 conditioners...not here...You get 4 bars of soap, 4 hand lotions, 4 shampoos, and 4 conditioners....WOW! The shampoos smell like tangerines and I love them! We get a knock at the door shortly after and to our surprise we get a complimentary fruit tray! Not a small one either! Grapes, papaya, strawberries, pineapple! Loved the hot tub, the pool is cold but it was also clean and nice. The property is gorgeous! The people are FANTASTIC. The value is great. Housekeeping personnel is great. For what you get for the price, you can't beat it. Katherine, the fruit tray was an awesome touch....thank...

Very clean and an excellent price for a 4 star hotel. Restaurant is good but you can find others that are much better for the same price. Front desk is very very helpful. Our flight got canceled so we returned for another 2 night. Book through travel sites like Expedia etc, you'll get a good discount. The pool is very large and appears to be relatively unused. They also have a jacuzzi tub that's very large. Also doesn't seem to be used often but it's there. They have a gym and a spa. Haven't used the spa. The grounds are well maintained. But as with any place in Costa Rica there are a few things that need to be upgraded/fixed. Both rooms needed lightbulbs replaced but that very minor. Some rooms have a washer and dryer if you really have a cleaning clothes fetish. Some rooms have a full sized refrigerator ,others European /costa rica size. All room seem to be efficacy suites with 2 bedroom and a full kitchen but the rooms we stayed in had no plates or utensils. I didn't ask if they could be provided. It also has a 24/7 guarded gate.

Overall it is a well...
