Carara Hotel — Hotel in Tárcoles

Buenos dias Estimados Hotel Carara: PESIMO SERVICIO AL CLIENTE, BUENO PESIMO NO SUPER RECONTRAMALO. LO MAS FRUSTRANTE FUERON LOS DESAYUNOS QUE SUPUESTAMENTE VIENEN INCLUIDOS, NO COMIBLE NUESTROS ALMUERZOS Y CENAS. LOS COMPRAMOS FUERA DE ESTE LUGAR CON DECIRLES QUE UNA SODA DEL LUGAR COCINA SUPER DELICIOSO Y EL ENCARGADO DE LA SODA FUERA DEL HOTEL NOS BRINDO HELADOS Y QUEQUE DE CORTESIA PERO EN ESTE HOTEL NI SIQUIERA PAPEL HIGIENICO TENIAN NOS SIRVIERON UN CAFE CON CUCHARAS HERRUMBRADAS, UN JUGO DE NARANJA PURA AGUA Y LOS SUPUESTOS DESAYUNOS CALENTADOS EN MICROONDAS ARROZ AÑEJO PAN AÑEJO, LA SEÑORAS DE LA COCINA SIN LAVARSE LAS MANOS SIN USAR UNA COFIA, UN ZANCUDERO QUE NO SE SOPORTA LA PISCINA NUNCA VI QUE LA LIMPIARAN COMO SE DEBE DE LIMPIAR UNA PISCINA, EL DISQUE GERENTE UN SEÑOR NO SABE NO DONDE ESTA PARADO, NO BRINDO BUENA ATENCION CON ESTE TIPO DE PERSONAS NO VUELVO A ESTE LUGAR. LOS DESAYUNOS INCLUIDOS MUY SIN GRACIA VASOS SUCIOS WIFI PESIMO, LOS BICHOS EN EL CIELO RAZO NO DEJAN DESCANSAR INSISTO QUE GERENTE MAS REMALO NO SABE LO QUE HACE, PEDI QUE SE PRENDIERA LA LUZ DE LA PISCINA PARA ESTAR UN RATO Y ME CUESTIONARON ES INCREIBLE EL GERENTE AL DARSE CUENTA DE QUE ESTABAMOS MANDANDO A TRAER LA COMIDA AFUERA DE ESTE DISQUE HOTEL NOS INDICO QUE TENIAMOS QUE COMER EN LAS MESAS QUE ESTAN QUE ESTAN PUESTAS CON UNOS MANTELES QUE SUPER SUCIOS Y SI MANDAMOS A COMPRAR COMIDA A UNA SODA FUERA DEL HOTEL Y ESTO COMO QUE NO GUSTO Y TUVIMOS QUE COMER FUERA DE LA HABITACION LLENOS DE. MOSCOS Y ZANCUDOS Y NI SE PREOCUPARON POR SABER SI NESECITABAMOS ALGO NUNCA NOS OFRECIERON MENU NI AGUA ALGUN APERITIVO NI MUCHO MENOS UNA REGALIA Y LO IRONICO DE LAS COSAS LA SODA DONDE MANDAMOS A COMPRAR NOS DIERON HELADO Y QUEQUE DE CHOCOLATE UNA SODA!!!! COMPRAMOS EN UNA PANADERIA Y NOS DIERON A PROBAR EL PANCITO ANTES DE COMPRARLO PERO EN ESTE DISQUE HOTEL NI SIQUIERA AGUA NOS OFRECIERON, PUBLICIDAD ENGAÑOSA EL SEÑOR DEL HOTEL EL DISQUE GERENTE OFRECE FALSAS EXPECTATIVAS LA HABITACION NO SE LIMPIO EN TRES DIAS PEDI UN CONTROL PARA TELEVISOR Y EL SEÑOR SE OFRECIO A TRER UNA PANTALLA QUE NUNCA LLEGO Y TAMPOCO EL CONTROL DEL DICHO TELE FUE HASTA EL DIA SIGUIENTE QUE AUNQUE YA NOS HABIA VISTO QUE TUVE QUE ENVIAR UN MENSAJE A UNA DE LAS DUEÑAS PARA SABER PORQUE NO HABIA PAPEL HIGIENICO Y QUE HABIA PASADO CON EL CONTROL DEL TELEVISOR Y HASTA QUE POR FIN NOS DIERON EL CONTROL DEL TELE Y ADIVINEN SIN TAPA EL CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!!!!DEBAJO DE LA CAMA CUCARACHAS PEQUEÑAS NO OBSERVE NINGUN PROTOCOLO DEL MINISTERIO DE SALUD POR DEL COVID 19 NOSOTROS COMPRAMOS NUESTRO ALCOHOL EN GEL EL PRIMER DIA NI LAS LUCES DE LOS PASILLOS PRENDIERON (PASILLO) EN NUESTRO PRIMER DESAYUNO TODO CON MICROONDAS NO HABIA NADA MAS QUE UN PINTO CON HUEVO PARA ALMORZAR NO TENIAN NADA MUY DEFICIENTES EN EL SERVICIO NO MOSTRABAN INTERES NI CONFIANZA NO HUBO INTERES NI EMPATIA NO HUBO CORTESIA NI AMABILIDAD NO HUBO NI SIQUIERA UN GESTO DE AGRADECIMIENTO GENUINO QUE DECEPCION TOTAL ESTO ES CON EL FIN DE QUE MEJOREN PORQUE TIENEN MUCHAS DEFICIENCIAS Y LES PUEDE AYUDAR A MEJORAR.LOS PAQUETES DE AZUCAR EN LA MESA MOJADOS NI SE PODIA ENDULZAR NADA. ACLARO QUE ESTA NOTA LA HAGO CON TODO EL RESPETO CON EL FIN DE QUE MEJOREN.UNA MUY MALA EXPERIENCIA DE 3 DIAS MUY MOLESTOS Y A LA VERDAD A ESTE LUGAR NUNCA MAS PUEDE SER QUE NO LES IMPORTE Y ESO LO EVIDENCIARON YA QUE NO LES IMPORTO NUESTRA ESTADIA NO HUBO PREOCUPACION POR ATENDERNOS POR SI SE NOS OFRECIA ALGO NADA ESQUE NADA EL LUGAR ES BONITO LA PLAYA BONITA PERO INSISTO EL PESIMO SERVICIO AL CLIENTE Y OJO NO DIGO QUE TENIAN QUE REGALARNOS NADA NI QUE ESTABAMOS PIDIENDO LUJOS SI NO MAS BIEN SOLO BUENA ATENCION EL SER EXIGENTES EN EL BUEN SERVICIO AL CLIENTE AL FINAL LA PEOR EXPERIENCIA EN ESTE LUGAR. EL CLIENTE ES LO MAS IMPORTANTE TUVE LA OPORTUNIDAD DE ESCUCHAR A 2 PERSONAS UE LLEGARON UN RATO QUE LA COMIDA NO ERA BUENA Y TENIAN RAZON. The hotel is in a bit of a rough area- we followed about 8 police cars down the road where they converged on the property next door in some sort of bust. We reserved a sea view room, but we're told on arrival that "there was a problem with the sea view rooms" and they would have to our us in a regular room. (When it got dark, it was easy to see that all of the sea view rooms were occupied, so the hotel had clearly overbooked and given our room away.) The room we got was smaller than and more bare than the average prison cell. There were no towels, and the sheets were like sandpaper. The only saving grace was that there was working air conditioning, which helped to cover the noise from the pool outside our door. The breakfast in the morning was served buffet style and was OK. We stayed at a dozen or so properties in Costa Rica during our stay and this is the only one I would...

In a place where we could not immediately find something not all too posh this hotel (it is certainly not a B&B like advertised on Tripadvisor, more a motel) this was a good stop. Advantages of this hotel: the large enough swimming pool and the balconies with garden and ocean view. Less of a choice maker are the restaurant (simple but good), the breakfast (same idea) and the rooms (likewise). So a simple hotel catering to people who would like to be close to the Carara N.P.||You recognize however that things are getting old and rusty. The room is plain. The chairs are not so modern. I even broke one by just sitting on it and I am not even 80 kg. The garden near the beach can also do with some attention. The Carara is an okay hotel but would certainly see hardly any guests in places alongside the Pacific coast with more fierce...
