My best friend and I spent 6 days at Hotel Rivel and we really wished we had spent more time! Hotel Rivel offered a beautiful balance of mountain adventures and nature retreat! With various options of easy treks to hardcore hikes leading to stunning hidden waterfalls, walks through banana and coffee plantations, swimming in natural pools, river trekking and so much more! The owner is super cool, welcoming and attentive!! He claims that a stay at Hotel River is life changing… and I must admit that ‘tis true! We stayed in the most beautiful cabin next to the river stream… and the burbling and whooshing sounds of the stream alone were therapeutic! Our cabin was fully equipped and even had its own kitchenette, wifi modem and a desk - which I used to “work-from-home”!! I cannot wait to go back!! I would highly recommend enjoying the onsite beautifully-lit natural pool and waterfall while...

Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Rivel! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotlessly clean, offering stunning views that made my mornings even more special.

The amenities are top-notch, especially the pool and spa area, which provided the perfect relaxation spot after a day of exploring. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals that exceeded my expectations, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes.

Location-wise, it’s perfectly situated for easy access to local attractions, yet still offers a peaceful atmosphere. I can’t recommend Hotel Rivel enough for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. I’ll...

It’s all in the name! Adventure and nature retreat is the best way to describe it. I stayed here for a week in February and I was not disappointed. This place exceeded my expectations with the gorgeous views, waterfalls, and hiking trails. They even provided mountain bikes, so you can be as adventurous as you want to be. The cabin I stayed in was comfortable and very clean, it even had its own modem so WiFi was never an issue. Meditating with the soothing sounds of a flowing stream and waterfall is something everyone should experience at least once in their lives! This is a great place for reflection and to feel rejuvenated by connecting with nature. I definitely recommend Hotel Rivel to anyone looking to reset,...

If u like remote places and pure nature this is the place. After a 3,5 km bumpy gravelroad u arrive in nirvana. In the middle of the jungle we had a cabin with glass sliding doors and windows what gives u the feeling your bed is outside. The cabin has it's own wifi, u even get a bluetooth speaker, binoculars, coffeemachine, torch and lighter in the room. The swimmingpool is a basin with waterfall. The trails that start at the lodge are gorgeous, we where the only ones. No walk in the park but very beautiful. We had Carlos as privat cook, he prepaired nice food and was very friendly. And then the price of this hidden gem.... so cheap 4 what u get. Long story short; this was the best Lodge we had this holiday.

Stayed here for a week in January and loved it. The river going through the property and the waterfall pool were my favourite, lots of spots you could cool off in and the water is so pure. Our cabin was a super cute! Cosy in size but had everything we needed - hot water, coffee machine, wifi and comfy bed. Perfect retreat for lots of hiking (take long pants if you go off-path, which you should - so many secret gem spots), and the whole place is a very peaceful setting. Needed to go to a pharmacy at one point but the owners were super helpful and there was one in the local village. Highly recommend!
