Motel Interpetrol — Hotel in Grad Šibenik

At first glance this place looks like it deserves a better rating. But then you tale a closer look and start seeing the "cracks"... the room I stayed at leaves a cozy vibe, even having airconditioning, but the floor  boards need maintenance and there are scuff marks on the wals and furniture. The bathroom is also nice at first glance, it even has a couple of hooks to hang your things (which is a great plus!), the tiles are a lovely colour, but there are several smaller ones missing under the shower. The soap rack had something.... blackish-yellowish in it that doesn't look at all sanitary. Another towel rack, for the larger towels, would be a good (and necesary) addition, especially if it could be placed close to the shower. The English version of the evacuation instructions is not entirely acurately translated - definitely should fix that! The man at reception was polite and friendly. The price was ok for what you get.

All in all, the flaws do outweigh the positives so only three stars (the devil is in the detail, as the saying goes). However, most of them are easily fixed and I would stay here again, if I was ever again in the area and needed a cheap place to rest...

Motel über einer Tankstelle und Cafe, (welches in meinem Zeitraum geschlossen war). Liegt an der Magistrale zwischen Vodice und Sibenik. Für mich eine gute Lage die Gegend mit einem Auto zu erkunden. Parkplätze waren ausreichend vorhanden. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte eine ausreichende Klimaanlage. Obwohl es an der Magistrale No 8 liegt war es ruhig. Nicht viel los, eher ein Ort für Durchreisende. Das Bad hätte ein weiteren Handtuchhalter verdient. Zudem holt man sich die Schlüssel unten an der Tankstelle ab. Die Motel Besitzerin und die Tankstelle kooperieren in dieser Hinsicht. Was mich aber nicht gestört hat. Ca hundert euronen für 2 Tage im August für ein nüchternes, jedoch ohne negative Überraschungen waren...

Perfect location, very nice staff, and very affordable price especially in the middle...
