We have just returned from our holiday at Eurocamp Ljutić and, unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. We will never return, as our vacation was largely ruined.
After booking and paying a considerable amount for the accommodation via Booking.com, we received a message just three days before our arrival, informing us that the mobile home did not include bed linen and that we had to bring our own. This was highly inconvenient, as the notice came at the very last minute. When I called the number provided in the message, a staff member answered but did not introduce herself or even mention that she was from the camp. When I asked how it was possible that no bed linen was provided, I was told that “this is not their practice” and was instead offered bed linen rental for €34.
I explained that we were traveling with a small child and even emphasized that we were willing to pay extra to have the mobile home prepared and set up as shown in the photos on Booking.com. However, the answer was simply that “they do not do that,” followed by vague explanations. Furthermore, there was no baby cot available on request.
Despite these issues, we decided to go, as it was too late to find alternative accommodation. Upon arrival, however, we faced yet another disappointment – the mobile home was only superficially cleaned and did not meet even basic hygiene standards, so we had to clean everything ourselves again. We received only a very small starter kit with dishwashing liquid, a sponge, one roll of toilet paper for two bathrooms, one trash bag, and a dish cloth. There were no towels provided. The refrigerator and freezer were frozen solid, and there was only one remote control for two air-conditioning units. The AC would turn off whenever the safety key was removed, or even if in the other room you slightly opened the balcony door.
The check-out process was even more frustrating – we were required to leave everything “spotlessly clean,” including scrubbing floors and bathrooms. We find it completely unacceptable that guests are expected to thoroughly clean such overpriced accommodation, especially when it was not clean upon arrival.
Finally, the beach was also a disappointment – rocky, overcrowded, and unsuitable for small children.
Overall, this accommodation is overpriced and falsely advertised on Booking.com. The service was poor and unprofessional, and the treatment of guests far below any acceptable standard. I would strongly warn anyone considering Eurocamp Ljutić about what truly awaits them. Sadly, for us, this was one of the worst holiday experiences we...
Read moreExtremely (or even shamefuly) overpriced with very low value and poor service. We had mobile home deluxe for family of four. Staff and reception is not helpful, you need to remind basic requests. There is also language barrier. They give 3 toilet papers to 4 people for 14 days. You need to solicit linien and towel change after one week which is unusual in this price range. It was not clean and there were ants in the appartment. Toilet seat was broken, toilet brush as well. It was replaced by toilet seat which did not fit which was embarissing. Fridge did not work sufficiently. Kitchen was poorly equiped. There was no privacy as the camping is very densly organised. Beach is very narrow and crowded, it is not clean. There is no value to justify the price. On the other hand you risk to be stolen equipment which unfortunately happened also to us. There is no security and strangers freely enter and exit the camping. Pictures do not reflect reality. There are several mobile homes owned by different provider which can confuse you. DeLuxe mobile homes do not have privacy, many of them do not have side curtains and they are on bussy main camping road. You are facing cars passing just aside you. Parking of your own car is not good, there is not enough space in front of many mobile homes. There is another adjecant parking lot which does not look safe. Should all campings in Croatia be like this one, you rather opt for another country. Croatia raised prices this year a lot, but quality of the services is lower compared to other countries. In the case of camp Ljutic it is even embarissing or fradulent behavior. Please, double check all information before you book accomodation in Croatia. Fortunately all our previous experience was good and we only made mistake this year. Camp Ljutic is expensive lesson ( 4.5 k Euro plus stolen items) after many years of...
Read moreIt was our first time at the cabin style/mobile home and we were surprised to how nice it was. The house was pretty, with new furniture and modern appliances - had everything you need from milk foamer to the comfiest bed ever. The location is great, with some quiet surrounding of the campsite is a beach less than minute away (sandy beach 5 mins away) and a supermarket. The campsite is quiet - the walls seem to be soundproofed (there was a huge storm and we barely felt it) and nicely put together. The value for money was amazing (420 euros for one week for a whole home) and we would definitely come back there...
