We have been in this hotel for the past week. Already on check in, the bald guy, was completely lost. He just gave us the updates about eating hours and that was it. No mention at all about services, pool area, playing area...he didnt even point us to the elevator, but we didnt brag this out as we were happy to arrive there and we were looking forward for our holidays to begin. Sadly, we were wrong. In last 7 days our experience with this hotel was terrible. I don't even know where to start and probably will left some things out of this review. First act - Facilites: -Very small rooms -Rooms werent cleaned as we found hairs on our shower glass -WiFi wasnt working (cant believe this one as we are in year 2024), when I called on reception, a woman answered me and said that the connection problem is all over Dalmatian coast and not only in this hotel (tried to get me stupid 😆 as we were previously stayed in Dalmatian hotel and never had this problem). -Elevator not working for 5 days This one was also outrageous, our room was in 4th floor and for 5 days we needed to get upst/downs on our foots (for us adults wasnt really a problem but for 2 small kids was always a challenge, also eldery people werent happy about this). Every time we asked somebody about this issue, the answer was tonight or in the morning will be repaired. I know the hotel stuff was just answering what managment were told them to say. -Pool area Two pool areas with very limited sunbeds. We regualry saw people throwing their towels on sunbeds and not using them for the whole day. This issue is very problematic as all the others with who we spoke about hotel, pointed this issue as main one. This great managment (😂😂😂👨🏫) must do something about this asap. On positive side, the pool areas are cleaned and nice to use. Hands down also to the football playing yard which is installed on underroof area. -Food Ohh where to start, I really dont know. I get sick just to remember it. There is no arrow pointed at hotel but the "guests" of the hotel. Seriously, many people needs to do some extra courses about behaiving and manners when they are in eating areas. Food wasnt bad at all but very limited choices unfo. One day they bring sliced watermellon and one "lady" from Zagreb took 18 pcs on her table, leaving almost all.of us without single piece. My suggestion would be that someone from hotel stuff should deliver this kind of food to every table and avoid such tragic scenes 😂. For snacks, I really wouldnt like to spend any words because I have never seen such a thing in my life. 🤢🤢🤢
On 5th night we had an unpleasant surprise as hotel was shut out of electricity. One can only imagine how was to sleep on 4th floor without air condition for the whole night, but the must unbelievable thing is that the "lady" from the managment didnt apologize to anyone. In my past I also worked in tourism and hotel business, travelled across Europe and Africa but such an incompete managment I have never seen anywhere.
For the cherry on top, they charged us the parking ticket for the whole week, even if we parked else the first three days.
And for the grand finale, when we payed, later done the checkout and left the f * hotel, we ride for about 30km when we realized that they havent returned our ID's back. We will contact our agency and will request a concrete refund.
With not so kind...
Read moreUpon arrival the reception staff was short-spoken, all we got was that snack time is 16:00-17:00, and if we want parking it's 10 euros per day. The room is outdated and not at all like on the pictures. With the agency we payed extra for "sea view", but when we went down they said there's no sea view, the trees are blocking it, and anyway they don't have other room. In the twinroom the beds were pushed together we had to push them apart as I was travelling with my father and as a grown woman I don't wish to sleep in each other's mouths. The rug under the beds were undiscribably disgusting, not only lots of dirt and sand but lost uno card and other rubbish as well. In 5 days we had been here there was no cleaning whatsoever, they only deigned to change the towels when on the 4th days we went after the cleaning lady and handed her the dirty ones and requested a change. No sweeping, no toilet/shower/tap cleaning at all, no sheet changing and even though they HAD TO see the mess on the floor they didn't vacuum at all. The food is good, there is a good selection and filled up continuously. The pools are nice, the sunbeds as well. The sea is about 10 mins walk to a free beach section. It's okay, a bit busy even in the after season. There are HUGE lakes of rainwater on the way, there's a tiny path that you can avoid it, but it smells awful. All inclusive is a JOKE. The beer and wine is average but the soft drinks are HORRIBLE. Exi-cola is undrinkable and even the juices are full of sweetener and taste bad. The worst part is, we came in the after season to avoid children (2nd week of September) but on our 3rd day a huge group of about 80-100 teenagers arrived (13-16 years old) and they have been shouting at all hours, at meal times they push around, take everything and make a huge mess. I've seen better conditions in a basic camping then in a "3 star, all inclusive hotel" because of these mob. I DO...
Read moreNobody speaks English in the hotel, almost all of the signs, menu's and information is in Croatian (no English translations). The staff is mostly unhelpful. When we wanted to rent a car we got a flyer from the reception but received no other help. While ordering a lunchbox for our whole day trip the lady at the reception seemed displeased that she was bothered. The food everyday is exactly the same, dinner's get leftovers from lunch. One hour of a snack time are just some cookies from the supermarket and apparently there was also some kind of "pizza" during the first 15 minutes from the snack hour start. There is nothing to eat between the meals or after dinner - not even if you'd wish to pay. There is also no place around the hotel to buy any food. The rooms are total disaster, no mater which side of the hotel you are staying. They look like eastern Europe in the 70's. WiFi is unavailable in the rooms (you can pay extra for that, which is apparently normal here in 2020).
But the most disturbing part is that we got assaulted by some locals on the premises of the hotel (they jumped over from the street over a 1-meter high hotel gate to the pool area), right under the security cameras. We were actually hit multiple times and went to reception to call the police. Once they came, the camera recordings were reviewed and the police decided that the footage from 3 meters away didn't allow to actually recognize the attackers faces.
This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed in and I highly discourage booking this sorry excuse...
