Petehovac, Mountaineering Center — Hotel in Grad Delnice

Pros: location, wonderful view on Delnice and surrounding area very clean rooms hot water, good pressure restaurant food/lunch was good easily reachable by car from Delnice

Cons: the bathroom was damp and a bit chilly; the sewer smell was leaking from somewhere included breakfast was below average, with modest food selection the "spa" area. So, if you are relaxed, came here to enjoy nature and all that, you can view this as funny and just enjoy yourself. But, if you are experienced in spa, and considering the price, you might find this setup horrendous. The finnish sauna itself is by-the-book, nothing to complain. But. The sauna is placed in a tiny room within the utility hallway - not clean, loud, employees banging with stuff and loudly speaking. The "relaxing room" has garden furniture, where you can only sit, and there is NO SHOWER. So after the sauna, you just sit there, sticky from sweat, unable to clean or refresh yourself. I hope they will take this more seriously if they are going to continue offering this service at this premium price. Simple mountain lodging, beautiful views, excellent food. Rooms are basic but clean, private bathroom with shower, plenty of hot water. Great outdoor seating area with covered or umbrella options for meals, or a large indoor dining room if inclement weather. There are hiking trails, a beautiful lookout, a jacuzzi, a small gym, and an outdoor children's playground. Friendly helpful staff speaking decent English. Good wifi, plenty of free parking. The food menu is the star of the show! Boar goulash with gnocchi, mushroom soup, fried forest mushrooms, deersteak with grilled vegetables- all homemade by the owner and delicious!! Great local wines, and local digestive liquers. Included breakfast with usual B&B food but can order eggs any style and they make them fresh! This is just as advertised, a mountaineering center first, a holiday B&B second. Do not expect a luxury 5⭐️ stay, but you will find a clean comfortable room, great food, in a wonderful alpine setting.

Service in restaurant : very unpleasant & unfriendly ! Unbelievable how only face impression can destroy all ! And don’t want to mention the way of talking even ! Big unlike to this place! Update : For very “ polite” reply to my review :) Your answer says all, thats the approach u have ! And just to refresh your memory- we had 3 tea and Ferrero cake.
