Camp Slapić — Hotel in Grad Duga Resa

This is one of a kind campsite, unique in Croatia. From my perspective it was really great camping experience. Lots of things to do: exploring the river, swimming, jumping, kayaking. Reception staff were really nice and helpful! Perfect place for anyone, families of course.

River is perfectly clean and enjoyable, very warm (around 21C). You can rent kayaks at the reception and I strongly suggest to do that (tour should take 2 hours if you are going to the small waterfall and back. On the way to waterfall you should make a stop at the "Vesela livada" and drink a beer. There is "main beach" where you can sunbathe right next to restaurant.

Restaurant has basic "morning" bread selection, coffee, drinks, good selection of food and prices are ok.

Campsite has two parts, one with classic pitches (electricity, some of them with water also, lots of shade) and part that's "pitch wherever you like" (it may be far from electric post, so consider bringing long electric cable). There is also small wooden "tents" near to the river or mobile houses near small swimming pool that can be rented. Also, barbeques are available and one ping-pong table.

This is a very good campsite, with a budget restaurant offering reasonable quality food, lots of pitches to choose from, lots of facilities, and warm customer service, with lots of languages spoken.

The pitches: the campsite has a wide range of pitches to choose from, and you're free to select your own. Be careful about going to near to the restaurant, however, as it's very noisy in the evening! Although it does close at 23:00.

The facilities: there is a washer and dry; good quality showers and clean toilets; a budget bar and restaurant, that also offer croissants for breakfast; unstable wifi is available for free at reception, but don't rely on it, as it has a tendency to disappear!

The area: the campsite is next to the Mreznica river, which has a beautiful area for swimming in. It really is one of the most stunning rivers I have ever seen! There is no supermarket nearby, but the restaurant isn't that unaffordable, so you can opt for someone else doing the cooking. Beware however, as the restaurant does get very busy in...

Very nice campsite located next to river Mrežnica. Plenty of space for everyone - from 100% shady patches to the opposite. Sanitary facilities very clean, multiple cleaning per day. The river is perfect to swim in and ideal for SUP or kayak (can be rented at the reception). Staff super super friendly, as well as the Restaurant staff. Food is Taste, the Pleškavića is killer😉.
