Honey house Lika — Hotel in Grad Gospić

What a little gem of a cottage house hidden in the middle of the Lika countryside. We wish we could have stayed a night longer as the host Nina, her sweet mother and her daughter (three generations!) made us feel comfortable and at home, providing us with restaurants recommendations knowing we had a long day of traveling behind us. The house has everything you need if not more to stay for a night or weeks: cosy garden, Honeywells and home-made honey, two different coffee machines, a splendid view, fridge, dishwasher, two spacious rooms offering privacy and even books for young and old as well as toys. The house is also situated a few minutes away from Tesla’s birth house and museum. During the night you can enjoy the moon and a glimpse of the Milky Way… what else does one need to feel on...

Absolutely charming! Tucked away on the edge of the forest, beside a small country road some 15 minutes drive from Gospić. Quiet, calm and warm. Perfect for any season.

We came after hiking Velebit, which is a really good combo and easy to do from the Honey house location.

When we entered, a bit cold and tired, I felt like Gretel entering the hut made of candy (minus the witch:) Complementary sweets, tea and wine made me relax instantly.

Boravak u ovoj predivnoj kućici u srcu Like, u divnom selu Trnovcu, bio je apsolutno predivan. Vraćamo se u Honey House Lika svaki put već mnogo godina za redom. Domaćica Nikolina je iznimno ljubazna, topla i pristupačna osoba koja s posebnom pažnjom brine o svakom detalju – od trenutka dolaska do odlaska osjećali smo se kao kod kuće. Kućica je savršeno opremljena za obitelji s malom djecom, obitelj s tinejdžerima, ali i za odrasle koji žele miran i opuštajući vikend u prirodi. Prostor je izuzetno čist, promišljeno uređen i funkcionalan – ništa nije prepušteno slučaju. Djeca su uživala u sigurnom i maštovitom prostoru za igru, dok smo mi odrasli mogli uživati u prekrasnom vrtu, tišini i prostoru za roštilj i druženje. Lokacija je idealna – okružena prirodom, a opet dovoljno blizu svih zanimljivosti koje Lika i Velebit nude. Ovo je definitivno mjesto na koje se želimo vratiti svaki put i koje s veseljem preporučujemo svima koji traže autentičan odmor u udobnosti, miru i s domaćinskom toplinom koja se danas...
