Venezia Imotski — Hotel in Grad Imotski

Hotel and restaurant, rooms with breakfast available. Dinner, lunch served on order. Dishes below average: mushroom soup is not what one expects (fresh soup with mushrooms is served as instant canned soup - yuk). Next, chicken filet with truffle sauce didn't even smell of truffles, it was swimming in some white sauce. Then, sleeping late night was impossible. Evry half an hour started some strange voices like banging that wakes you up. I lost it being woken up several times and complained at the reception. Noise is coming from the litchen where ribs are chopped 😳 until midnight so they let me go sleep in another room in the middle of the night. Wifi in the rooms is not working, lobby only. Visited this place on a business trip. Worked all day, was hungry as a lion. The dinner was very bad. The soup was extra salty I think it is not homemade but from a bag. It supposed to have asparagus in it.... it had some thing tasting like green onion, not asparagus. The main course, I had grilled meat balls (chevapcici), was swimming in oil. The French fries were swimming in oil two. When I finished the meal there was like 4, 5 table spoons of oil left in my plate. The food was seasoned with salty vegeta seasoning after being cooked. This seasoning should not be used on finished meals, only during cooking. Hotel lies right next to the main road, which can be quite noisy||Other rooms with a beautiful view of Imotski Polje - the great plain.||Though rather new in appearance, no Elevator!!||Massage shower with a very high entrance, makes it difficult for elder persons.||Drawback, that only the Manual shower head had hot water, all other outlets just sprayed cold water on you, including the Overhead one.
