Hotel Orion — Hotel in Grad Ivanec

Fantastic hotel, large balcony with great view on beautiful fields and mountains in the horizon. Very relaxing place, far from the city but close to many small villages where you can eat good foods. The best restaurant around is, however, the hotel's. I'd pay another plane ticket just to taste their burger with fries and ajvar, or the lasagna. The staff were very nice and even gave me a lift to the bus terminus after my stay!

Great people, they however made a mistake with my bill, but I told them and they immediatly refunded me! Awesome!

(If any of the staff read this, I'm sorry for the tone of my email when I asked for the refund, another hotel in Varazdin refused to refund me and I was scared I'd get scammed again).

I was in this hotel for a friends wedding and we rented a room for a night.||The room was big, spacious and clean. In a room we had one big comfy bed, telephone, samsung lcd, mini fridge, air conditioning, mirror, table, chair and closets.||In one word it had everything beside a safe (who needs it).||The bathroom was new, clean, had many towels and shampoo and was great.||With the room we got balcony with chairs and table so you can sit outside.||Only flaw of the hotel is that it is located in the middle of nowhere and it is only great if you are somewhere near by or passing through that part of the country.||All in all we...

we were visiting Trakoscan castle in the area and decided to spend the night nearby.We didn't want another urban setting so chose this spot.It was in the middle of farm country and was a great change.The staff were so friendly and accommodating.We ate dinner here and orderd the platter for two.This is actually a meal for a family of four.HUGE!The included breakfast is not a buffet but made to order and it was lovely.The dining room is bright and cheerful.Our room was a bit small though comfortable and had a nice balcony.Everything was spotless.Very good value and would absolutely...
