Hotel ZRINSKI — Hotel in Grad Koprivnica

I've been staying ih this hostel (because, by any means, it cannot be called a hotel with a 3*) during weekend in december. First of all, it would be better if i've slept in my car, because it was very noisy from music playing beneath my room (where is a big restaurant), since there was some kind of celebration or something...there wasn't a free parking place, so i had to drive few times around and wait for some parking place to become available...later when i wanted to order something to eat (a la carte), waiter said to me that i can eat only something that is on the menu for this celebration that was going on, so i didn't order anything, since i need to eat gluten free food, and they wouldn't prepare me anything...i didn't get much sleep because the celebration was going on until 4 o clock in the morning...only good thing was that i made reservation only for one night...very bad place to sleep, cleanliness poor, unkind...

Well we stay here for a long weekend and I see the comments and some of them are negative to positive but I can see why people are no happy but my own opinion is yes the hotel is a bit out of touch need some update it have some good potential but are a few issues as is a restaurant on the ground floor a pizzeria that is very good and looks very traditional but when people smokes by the entrance all that cigarette smoke goes in to the corridor of the hotel and is not a pleasant smell when you are a not smoker so to me that is a star down and the hotel cleanest to me is no a good stander so that is another star . Positive well good location and downstairs is a good restaurant and good space to park if you drive The service good people...

The hotel is situated above a pizzeria excellent for us as we were celebrating late into the night, a small shop is also close by which is open til 11. Staff are very friendly which really added to the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Also went for breakfast the following morning, the staff were fast and very accommodating.

Only small negative comment but it really took an effect on the trip. the shower wasn't working properly and was missing a handle. -the bedding is quite outdated and I found some stains on the bedding. the shower curtain doesn't reach the floor which makes the floor soaking wet

But I would visit again, hopefully next time with some updates I can see this place...
