Marula Apartment — Hotel in Grad Korčula

😊: We were in Marula apartment as a family ( 2+2) on our summer holiday, and we were more than satisfied with the accommodation, owners, and the place as a whole. The view was perfect, maybe the best in the whole village. We had a small beach just in front of us, even sometimes we visit the city beach as well (kids loved it there more, and it was just 2 min walk). The free private parking is just in front of the house as well. The place is for a quiet holiday, where you really can fill up the batteries. If you need more buzz and crowd, Korcula City is just 12-15 km away, and you can feel the busy tourist energy there, which we did on our 1-day trip. The host was very helpful with everything. the rooms were big enough and very clean. Also, there was everything you need, if you want to cook a meal yourself. The kids were happy with the wifi, as there were no issues at all. We really enjoy our week there and would love to come back again. 😊: The apartment was clean, sufficient space inside, but very small balcony, window with sea view. The owners are nice and friendly. Upon our request, we got a few reccomendations of what to visit or where to eat on the island. There is a place to go swim just under the apartment with umbrellas and sun beds.. 😢: The road to the apartment is very narrow and the locals have little driving culture. It was very tiring, long and stressful to drive from Račišće to Korčula on a daily basis if you wanted to see the island and explore. The apartment in which we stayed had no AC, only 2 extremely noisy ventilators that don’t do much, but you cannot turn them off because it will be...

😊: I think this place was the best decision of our stay in Korcula. Loved the quiet little town Racisce, really felt like our souls were resting. It's nice to sit on the balcony and just watch the sea, the fishermen and little boats, listen to church bells and enjoy. The local pubs were nice, good price for the beer. The grocery store is tiny and you can get bare minimum from there, so if you need more stuff you need to do your shopping in Korcula old town or in Vela Luka hypermarket.
