We have spent here a whole week. It was a great holiday, the hotel was clean, well equipped and the staff was kind and helpful. Pag is a beatiful island in the middle of nowhere and the hotel is almost at the tip of it. It was really peaceful to stay here. We spent here the last week of September and there was enough sunshine to use sunscreen and the water was still warm enough to swim in. We only had two stormy days but the hotel has two pools (one inside and an outside as well), sauna, and gym. The massage was great and the masseur lady has suprisingly firm hands (in a good way).||The sea is cristal clear. The hotel has its own beach with a lot of sunbeds and parasols - the use of them is free for the hotel’s guests. We have brought our own parasols as well, but thankfully they spent the holiday closed in the car. The beach has one pebbled part where you can walk into the sea - here it is best to use water shoes. If you don’t have water shoes the beach has two ladder which directly leads to the deep water. Since the water is clear, we were able to see a myriad of fishes and some sea urchins as well.||The rooms were clean and spacious (both of them), even they have one decent size of desk. I think the glasswall of the bathtub had a design fault. Althought it stops the water from splashing out, but the water could still pour out under it and flood the bathroom - the cleaning lady gave us enough towels for the trouble. We were happy to find that they used one king sized matress rahter than two small ones as we have experienced in other hotels.||The cleaning lady came every day. She was really neat; vaccumed every day, changed the bedsheats at least two times a week, cleaned the sunscreen off the mirrors that I have accidently sprayed all over — just to mention a few things we noticed. Hvala Biljana :)||Actually everybody was kind and helpful from the staff, and everyone spoke English very well. The receptionist, Stephan, was smiley, explained everything, he even brought us a new safe himself because a previous hotel guest got the old one malfunctioned. When we bumped into each other in the village he noticed and waved at us. The waiters and waitresses were also very kind and swift. Sometimes the restaurant forgot to write the name of the dishes but the staff helped us to choose. The waiter, Jakob, even remembered which beverages we ordered from previous day. They even mixed a special cocktail for us at dinner.||The minibar in our room was thankfully empty but the fridge was working in case you would have liked to use it. I read somewhere in the reviews that you can ask the staff to fill it but we didn’t feel the need of it. We store our leftovers there from our 8h long ride to here from Budapest. There is a cocktail bar between the beach and the outside pool. We usually spent the lunch in the surrounding villages of Pag. I think a must see is the Olive Garden — there is there a 2000 years old olive tree o.O and it is a 15 min ride from the hotel.||You can park your car in the garage for 10€/day or you can park outside of the garage for free. ||I think it is a good value for the money. The hotel staff is friendly. We really liked to stay here and will definitely...
Read moreGood Side: SEA: clear waters with perfect temperature, specially a treat for full mask snorkling at deep water. However be aware it is not a sand but stone beach, there are sea urchins so BRING SEA SHOES PERSONEL: pretty much all personell at the hotel( from the cook to cleaning ladies) are friendly and ready to help, almost all of them at least speak basic English. ROMANTIC, with the sea view there is a nice restaurant for couples who wants few(!) days of escape.
BAD SIDES: Position: Hotel is in pretty rural area and reaching there without car is pretty tricky. There is no shuttle service. -Service :Consider BRING WATER with you because there is not even complimentary water in the rooms, I think in order to charge it at your account from the bar downstairs there is no beverages in the rooms. Also no kettle, etc. Service: for the same reason I assume when we first arrived also small refgirator ( where there supposed to be offered beverages) was not working as well, when I asked reception they answered it is the same for all rooms. Service: air conditioner is on central system therefore you are bound to this system but not how you feel it. You can not arrange it according to yourself. even though there are nice friendly animators it is NOT A CHILD FRIENDLY hotel (specially for small ones), no play ground, no play area, sea is deep with pebles, pool has too much clore (burning the eyes), pretty much every outside area is a SMOKING AREA! -Hygine: BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS with you specially for bathroom use. Of course if you are OK to use the towels with black, brown sometimes yellowed marked supposedly cleaned hotel towels, it is ... your choice.
Considering the hotels location and activities max 5-7(?) days should be enough for an escape however more than this is getting limited boring routine. Additionally all above points taking in the consideration, price should be thought more than twice if it is...
Read moreQuite upset on how much i've spent on this hotel, only to end up being worst holiday in my 36 years.
Location is in middle of nowhere, Nearest town you need to pay taxi €80 to go there and come back.
Everyday it was the same food, very cheap-cold and not tastey. We was sick of it after 3 days.
Alcohol drinks were all watered down, if you wanted a proper alcohol drink from the bottle it would cost you extra.
No entertainment for the guest, the towels had stains, the plates and glass were not cleaned and the pool outside and inside (including the jacuzzi) was cold.
You had broken bits of plastic everywhere around the both pool areas.
As for the aircon, you can't control it from your room, the reception desk controls it for you 😂😂
Housekeeping? What housekeeping ! We arrived in our room and saw a toenail on the floor, lets just put it this way- toenail was still there when we left. Thats how terrible the housekeeping was, and although some days we put sign to say "do not disturb" they still entered our rooms which was not ACCEPTABLE!
Only positive thing is the staff at the reception desk and the indonisian staff that worked at the bar and the dinning hall, which was very friendly.
This shouldn't be 4 stars- shouldn't even be 3 stars.
Last thing i like to point is, we booked all inclusive in booking.com, only to be told its not all inclusive and infact this is the hotels name "La luna all inclusive" which was...
