Pool Villas Maris — Hotel in Grad Novalja

I wish I could give less than one star. Such a horrible firm. Booked a trip for my son and 11 of his friends and had to pay a deposit of 10%. Because of the well known pandemic at the moment, Novalja isn't the best place to stay. Also the flights have been cancelled because of Corona. The deal was, cancellation is for free at any time. The first couple of weeks they send me mails that they have to wait for national support. After that they just didn't react anymore. B....com interfered and they answered, that the company changed owner, so they won't give the deposit back to me. Of course, and it isn't about the money anymore but a moral issue, I will take it to court. So people, would you really like to stay at a place like this?...

The apartments are modern and clean - as in the pictures. We were surprised by the fact that this villa is managed by an "agency", not by private host. Upon check-in, they demanded an advance payment of 300 €, which is otherwise refunded if everything is OK after check-out. Also, after 22 p.m. every night came by security guys and told everyone who had music to turn it off - acceptable but performed with an unpleasant tone. I would say that the system is kind of professional, but the people who work within this agency have a poor attitude...

The staff were absolutely vile , rude and shouted at us multiple times through out our stay. There was no cleaners for the full week meaning we got no clean towels, bedding ect. There was smashed glass on the balcony's , meaning 3/5 of us got glass wedged into our feet. Stuff left on our balcony would get thrown in the...
