Disaster! Never again, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. On December 1st, 2024, I received a newsletter offering a 30% early booking discount for the newly renovated apartments. I made a reservation on December 3rd, 2024, for mid-July 2025 — a renovated 4-star apartment, All Inclusive Light, at around €250 per night.

At the beginning of June, I called the hotel to check and confirm the accommodation. When I asked them to confirm whether I’d be staying in a renovated apartment or another facility, they told me they didn’t know yet and would get back to me. Ten days passed — no response — so I called again. This time they told me I would be placed in a renovated apartment.

Two days before arrival, I received a welcome email — everything seemed fine. Then, the day before arrival at 4:00 PM, I got an email saying there were technical issues and I could no longer be accommodated in the reserved unit. Instead, they offered a 3-star hotel, a 15% discount on the original price, and free parking.

I immediately tried calling reservations, but it was 4:01 PM — they were already closed. I called the hotel reception and, after an hour, managed to reach someone. The receptionist didn’t know what was going on — just said there was a problem, but had no details.

I wrote an email explaining I was already on a 1,500 km journey with my family, had no alternatives, and that a 3-star accommodation isn’t equivalent in price or quality to the 4-star I booked. They then granted me an additional discount. I had no choice but to accept the offered accommodation.

At the reception, the staff looked like they had no will to live. The location is great — right on the beach — but the hotel barely qualifies as 2 stars. It desperately needs renovation. It hasn’t been touched since it was built. The carpets in the room are not suitable for walking barefoot, and the cleanliness is far from acceptable.

Breakfast was okay. Lunch and dinner were a disaster — mostly frozen food, and the restaurant was extremely unhygienic.

While staying there, I saw online that the renovated 4-star apartments I originally booked were available. I also saw guests staying in them. At the reception, I noticed a price list showing that those same apartments cost over €500 per night during that period.

✨ My Hotel Experience ✨

From the very first moment of my arrival, I felt incredibly welcome. The reception was warm, professional, and at the same time very personal. I would especially like to highlight Mr. Stuha at the front desk: not only did he greet me with a friendly smile, but also with genuine kindness that is rare to find these days. Right away, we had some very entertaining conversations – he has a wonderful sense of humor, and his funny remarks instantly created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. It honestly felt less like checking into a hotel and more like arriving at a friend’s home.

The hotel itself impressed me in every way. The room was not only comfortable and spotlessly clean, but also offered a breathtaking sea view that I simply couldn’t get enough of. Waking up to that panorama every morning was priceless – it’s the kind of view you never forget.

The buffet is another true highlight: abundant, varied, and full of fresh, delicious options. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner – there was always a wide selection, ensuring that everyone finds something to enjoy. What stood out to me was not just the variety, but also the high quality. You can tell that freshness and flavor are a real priority here.

The overall ambience of the hotel is just as impressive: modern, cozy, and at the same time full of charm that immediately makes you feel at ease. The staff everywhere was attentive and friendly without ever being intrusive. At all times I felt that everyone genuinely cared about making guests’ stays as enjoyable as possible.

All in all, I can only say that this hotel is an absolute gem. The combination of professional service, personal warmth, excellent food, and a unique location right by the sea makes staying here an unforgettable experience. I felt completely at home and will definitely be coming back.

A big thank you to the entire team – and especially to Mr. Stuha, with whom I had so many funny and delightful conversations. He truly makes you feel not like an anonymous guest, but like a valued friend.

➡️ My conclusion: Absolutely and wholeheartedly recommended – I am already looking forward to...

Lovely beach (but all pebble) & views, and some of the food nicely cooked. However these are probably the only pluses to this place. Paid extra for an appartment with sea view (could hardly see anything, and found out the hotel rooms had better views!?). No kettle in rooms and cannot take food or drink out from the restaurant/terrace. Beds and pillows VERY uncomfortable. Hot water lasted for about 4-5 mins for a shower and was told there was nothing they could do. (Water boiler also placed directly over the bath). Shower head facing over the side of the bath, paired with a non waterproof shower curtain (slip hazard if not careful). Food selection never changed for breakfast. Personally I quite liked some of the food, but if you do not like trying new things/food cooked differently, then you may find yourself paying for food elsewhere. Afternoon cakes were non existant, just a few biscuits. Very limited amount of 'all inclusive' drinks available. Shop at top of road didn't always follow closing times. Bus links available at top of road, but very unreliable. Taxis expensive, and booking a taxi from the hotel will also incur a charge (payable to the hotel)... you may also get staff (without notice), sharing your taxi free of charge! Next town not within walking distance and would strongly recommend hiring a car. To be fair, the cleaner was friendly and always did a good job, so no complaints on cleanliness. Limited amount of available excursions. You have to go in to town to get full use of available excursions. Activities/entertainment available was pretty basic, so it can get very boring at this place. Reception staff not always helpful, and can come across like they don't want to deal with you. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place. Yes, it is a 3 star hotel, but there are still certain expectations that...

Sagitta is one average hotel for easy stay and great stuff who work there. Rooms - Hotel rooms ,especially 1st floor, I dont know how would I rate it, I didn't like it. Our room,It smelled on cigarettes, but for this part of the world, it's normal, there is even astray in the room. Rooms on the 3rd floor are great, especially room for 3, 2 twin beds and 1 chair open into mattress , super nice so family of 2 adults and 1 kid, great stay. Food - ah food, what to say. All light inclusive, lots of pasta, sweets, veggies ,watermelon, oranges (plain) ,bread is great. Drinks and coffee are inclusive for breakfast, drinks inclusive only for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Otherwise, gotta pay. Price wise, 27 euros for lunch, coffee, and 3 euros coffee. Sorry, dont know alcohol as i am not consuming it. Does food run out, yes, but not often, but you gotta think they serve like 500 people . The best time is like half an hour after they open and least favorite time to go, last hour as food gets limited. Beach - a great thing is that the hotel is right next to the beach, just down the stairs, and you are on the beach. For a person who is in a wheelchair, it's accessible on the left side of the hotel as there are no stairs there. Water is the best here, so clean. Bring water goggles and water shoes, trust me, you will need it. Bring your towels, blanket, shade, chairs, anything that is useful on the beach. Service - ladies who work, clean rooms, what amazing ladies, especially Jasna. Super nice lady. Access to a hotel is very easy and, like someone else said, a great base to go to other places, like Split, Omiṣ̌, Baske vode, etc. Ask if you have a question. I will gladly help and answer😉

Huge Disappointment and Waste of Money Completely MISLEADING PHOTOS and descriptions that do not match reality at all. The rooms are OUTDATED, DAMAGED, furniture WORN OUT, the air conditioning LOUD, the bed CREAKS, and you feel like a SPRING MIGHT PIERCE YOUR BACK at any moment – a disaster. The bathroom was in a terrible state – DIRTY, HAIRS AND STRANDS, FILTH, the fan DID NOT WORK, so the smell and humidity lingered. The fridge was EXTREMELY LOUD due to lack of airflow, and many pieces of equipment were DAMAGED or non-functional. The ALL INCLUSIVE program is completely mismanaged: CHAOS, MESS, rotten fruit, POOR QUALITY INGREDIENTS, and nothing suitable for people with intolerances. The staff cannot handle the number of guests, and the hotel feels NEGLECTED and without proper organization. Honestly, for the PRICE PAID, you CANNOT BE SATISFIED with something like this, especially since the hotel PRETENDS TO BE PREMIUM while delivering LESS THAN AVERAGE quality. After the first night, we LEFT THE HOTEL with a small child it wasn’t easy, so the stay caused only more PROBLEMS, STRESS, and OVERPRICED HOLIDAY COSTS. We even had to pay the full price for one night in the all-inclusive plan, which we could not use at all. I consider this hotel a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT and a WASTE OF TRUST. Our stay at Holiday Village Sagitta was a CATASTROPHE that I would NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!

Gorgeous location, a bit non accessible for people with mobility issues as there are a lot of steps. Food was good and diverse (I missed more vegan/vegetarian options beside salads). Not a ful AI as some drinks in the bar are not included. The bar is quite far from the bungalows so we didn't go there for extra drinks at all. The beach is nice and long (many different spots) and has pebbles (bring shoes). Clean water and even cleaner rooms (pleasantly surprised). Most of the staff is not very nice (with the exception of a few in the dining room) but also not rude. WARNING: there is a stomach flu rampaging the hotel. The staff seems oblivious to it even after two people have been taken by an ambulance, at least they haven't notified anyone. I know of at least 10 people with diarrhea/vomiting/fever issues. Out of the four of us (2 adults and 2 children) all of us have been sick for the past 2 days.
