In the summer of ‘24 we stayed in Villa Grand Lokva for a week. It was high season so we were looking for a place to escape the overcrowded hotels and pool. We stayed here with two families and it was beyond perfect 🤩

The house is in the hills just above Lokva Rogoznica, and 8-10 min from Omis. It overlooks the beautiful Adriatic. The view is worth a million bucks. Every room, the spacious terrace and the pool are all oriented towards the magnificent view of the magic of the Adriatic. The owners are all amazing 🤩

The style of the house is done in a modern Dalmatian way. We like this a lot, as most new villas in Croatian have this hyper modern architecture. This villa preserved the traditional stone of the old Dalmatian stone houses while adding in the luxuries of a new villa. Perfect blend making it very cost - you feel at home.

It is one of the cleanest villas I have been at. There is nothing I can remark about, and I’m very picky - the fridge, the glass, floor, bedrooms, bathrooms, pool, everything was very clean.

As I had to work as well I was very happy with the WiFi. They have installed a Starlink satellite and it works really well. When in a call it disconnects very briefly (15sec) every ~30 min. I guess it is switching satellites? In any case Microsoft teams does not disconnect, it just re establishes connection and your call continues.

We were there with two families with kids ages 6-12. Everyone had a blast. There is also a game “cave” with a ping pong table, darts, ps4 and the largest TV I have seen (100”? 110”?). While the grown ups didn’t spend a lot of time there, the kids for sure did.

My favorite parts of the house were the privacy, view, outside grill and the large shaded terrace - although the kids would say the large pool.

As for the supermarket, there is one in the village but otherwise there are many in Omis. We just went with the car to Omis as there is one where it is easy to park (Plodine).

Final recommendation is the small taverna walking distance from the villa called Berekin. They had delicious home cooked food, so when we didn’t want to cook we would go there in stead.

Overall highly recommended.

Ps. A great activity to do is rafting on the Cetina river. Vlasta, the host, arranged for an at home pick up and drop off. Great half...

A Perfect Stay

Our stay at Seaview Villa Granda Lokva was exceptional from start to finish. The villa itself is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully appointed with every detail you could possibly need for a comfortable and luxurious holiday.

The views are truly breathtaking – panoramic sea vistas that you’ll never tire of, especially at sunset. The location is wonderfully peaceful and private, offering total relaxation, yet it’s only a short drive to gorgeous beaches, charming villages, and restaurants.

A special word of thanks to our host, who was incredibly kind, gracious, and generous throughout our stay. From the warm welcome to the helpful local recommendations, small personal touches, and access to the bountiful herb garden, her hospitality made the experience even more memorable.

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations - from the immaculate condition of the villa to the serene atmosphere and stunning surroundings. We can’t recommend Seaview Villa Granda Lokva highly enough and very much look forward to...

Our group of friends had super cool stay on Villa Granda Lokva for a week in end of May. This 5 bedroom villa is one of the best we have staied and was very good fit for our group. Absolutely fully equiped kitchen and large outdoor grill and eat area. Large livingroom area, great bletooth music system for indoor and outdoor and wonderful basement gameroom for children and adults as well. The bedrooms with comfi beds and ensuit bathrooms in each. The heated pool was important because of not tok warm days so we had chance to enjoy the pool almoust every day. In surrounding Hou will find several hiking trails and morning jog to beach and quick swin there was great routine. In conclusion, fabulous villa and thanks to our host Vlasta for super service and...

We were two families with kids and loved this villa. The kitchen is very well equipped. The rest of the house is very comfortable and spacious. The kids loved the game room, when they were not in the pool ;-) The pool is a heated saltwater pool with a length of approx. 12m, which makes it possible to do some proper swimming. After taking a swim we could relax in the jacuzzi area of the pool. But beware of the sharks. ;-) But the best of all was our host. She was always friendly, helpful and very responsive. And last but not least, there is a small garden with vegetables and a seating place. We were allowed to harvest the strawberries and the salad. We had an absolute great time in this lovely villa.
